Everything you need to start your own needle felting project is included in this box. The instructions are pretty clear, I would recommend looking at a few videos as well, one in the booklet and others online. There's various felt needed for this project and a felt block and a wide variety of needles for different types of effects.I would recommend this for a beginner or a responsible young adult. Remember, these are still needles and you do use a stabbing motion, so safety first.I would recommend this to any of my students 8 years/3rd grade and older, depending on responsible disposition.I can't wait to finish my project.

It took me awhile to get the hang of it, but once I figured it out, this needle felting was a blast. The wool is great quality as well as the accessories. This is definitely a hobby I can get on board with. This would make a great gift for anyone who is old enough to be safe with a needle. Once completed, these little gnomes are the perfect holiday decoration.
