I replaced my old contactor with this one to eliminate a loud clicking noise during engagement/disengagement and to prevent my compressor and cooling fan from running indefinitely after eventual complete failure. Now the original had a lifespan of some years. This one had the same specs as the original and looked just like it. This one lasted about two weeks before the contacts welded and the compressor/fan wouldn't shut down. I have become increasingly nervous buying things that are manufactured in China that rely on good metal alloys. This added to that paranoia. I replaced it with another brand with a higher amperage tolerance and I'm hoping for the best. I'd pursue something manufactured elsewhere if such a thing were available...

Easy replacement process from old contactor (18yr old) to this new product. Very reasonable price. It was way past time! System working well.

This was a great buy! My outside unit was staying on even when the inside blower turned off. The contactor contacts were sticking together. This seemed to happened when the a/c was on continuously for hours. (outside temps in the 90's) When this happens I had to go outside and shake the a/c unit so the contactor would unstick.

Almost a direct interchange and very easy to install. Because of a squirrel nest in my condenser unit, all the connections were corroded. Wires were chewed through and were hanging everywhere. While I had to put new connector ends on the thermostat leads the rest were able to be stripped and connected via the screw posts. Very pleased.
