I purchased this control board to replace a 30 year old board (1994). My flame detection would trip even with solid flame. This could be an issue you experience with older board. I already had a flame detector connected but if yours is prior to MARCH 1994 you will need flame detector kit. It was an easy plug and play. Took me about 30 minutes to remove old board and install new one. Make sure to note the connections on the old board as some have moved on new board but are labeled the same. I had unit operating without issue. I had a 62-24084-01 board.

We love it. We finally figured out that all we needed to do was replace the motherboard to the furnace for it to work. Yay! Finally have heat. Easy to install, comes with instructions and was cheaper than hiring someone to fix it for us.

This is NOT the replacement part you need, it's a generic knockoff of some oddball controller.Don't do it.

The of the plugs are in different locations. But it's really not hard to figure out. Both the old board and the new one are labeled, so just match things up. For example heat plug goes to heat plug. It's that easy. Really. I plugged everything in put everything back the way it should be, turned on circuit breaker and everything worked again.I highly recommend!

The was exactly the part I needed to restore heating for my Rheem Criterion II furnace. The problem I was experiencing was inconsistent power to the igniter. Sometimes it would ignite, sometimes it wouldn’t. After ruling out other part failures, it was the board that needed replacing. The seller helped me confirm this model board was the one needed after I sent them the furnace model and serial. Installation was relatively easy. You need gloves, needle nose pliers and screwdrivers. Take pictures and make notes of all of your wire placements on the old board before unhooking it. Make sure power to the furnace is off before you start the work. Total time for me was about 1 hour, since i am a novice, and really wanted to make sure I understood where all the wires needed to go on the new board before I unhooked anything. Totally worth it to get heat restored in the winter.

I noticed the board was slightly different from the original. After texting with the owner they explained this was the better made replacement board and why the model number was slightly different (62-24084-02).I watched a few YouTube videos, took photos, and research a little on the replacement part and how to install the new board.Turn off power to the unit if hardwired or unplug it before working on the unit. All that is needed to install this board are plenty of photos of the original set up, read where the original wires are being plugged into to on the original board, take notes of it, and match it on the new board. You may need to remove 2 of the upper mounting clips and attach them directly to the new board so you can slide upper left portion of the board through the opening. Line up the mounting clips, line up the board to the lower mounting clips, and press the new board into place. Reconnect all wire. You may need to pull 2-3 wires to give enough slack to plug them in the new locations on the new board.Once everything is connected and cover is secured with the ground wire, go ahead and plug the unit back in (or flip the breaker back on if hard wired) and test it out. Mine fired up right away! :)Good luck and if you have any questions, text customer service, they really are great!

Works great. Easy to replace and solved the problem. I paid extra for next day and it was here the next day. What more could you ask.
