Broke a tool trying to screw grub screws in on first skid. Requested a replacement and replacement was just as bad.Machined threading in skid plate is pretty poor. Had to work screws in and out many many times to avoid breaking screws and tools.Seems decent quality otherwise

Keep in mind though, this has overdrive on the front wheels. This means if you drive it too long on high grip flat surfaces (carpet, asphalt) you run the risk of stripping the gearbox out. There is a 30% difference in wheel speed, it won't take long for things to get stripped out of you are not careful.

Quality is pretty good, took it apart to inspect it and obviously no grease, so definitely add some if you don’t want to ruin the gears. But honestly can’t tell apart from the tgh trans. I’ve ran it a few times now and it works flawlessly.

The transmission part it good the skid plate on the other hand is a total piece of scrap. Not one hole lines up for the links. Required a ton of grinding and sanding just to get this thing together. Definitely don’t recommend if your planning on using the skid plate.

I use this on an SCX10 2. It seems pretty durable and it fit perfectly and works very well..
