First time dealing with brushed systems usually have brushless. This system is not bad running it with a 3s lipo. I have to say very impressed. For a cheap build or replacement; I definitely recommend

Motor only runs at about 1/3 rpm ? Tried different jumper settings, different batteries, & different TX/RX ?
I put it in my bandit seems to be ok so far.

For a cheap esc and brushed motor set up. It's got decent speed, enough to have tons of fun in the dirt! I barely installed it, so I'll see how long it will actually last. But I'm impressed so far for the CHEAP PRICE I paid for a CHEAP MOTOR AND ESC. it's not a top of the line so don't expect the best.

Great ESC! I've yet to try the 21T motor.ESC:Very smooth! Its smoother than my Tekin FX-R especially at low speeds witch allows for very precise throttle inputs.Great features built right in with jumper pins. The stock jumper settings are set to "Crawler" and "BEC 7.4V/5A". The 5A BEC should be plenty to run lights and some other accessories. Im not sure if this works with the surpass tuning card or not as I dont have one on hand to try it.Works great with generic brand 35T (Adjustable timing) motors with the white rotation direction arrows on them.21T Motor: while I havnt tried them yet they look ok, longer than a standard 540 can due to the built in fans so if youre running a front motor and chassis mount servo its gonna be a no go but for something with a more open layout it should work great! One other thing i noticed is the black wire is soldered to the red pole on the motors so swapping the red and black leads should save you from hitting the reverse switch on you transmitter ^-^Overall 10/10 would reccomend for the ESC alone, the motor is just a bonus!
