Bought to increase my production of small scale soaping. Perfect 10-bar molds @ 1-inch each. Have no issues with these! I use a 32 oz oil recipe with 1.5 water ratio. If I wanted the molds full, I would increase to a 35 - 38 oz oil recipe. My bars are 4 oz and measures 2.75" W x 3" H with my current 32 oz recipe.

These work fine. Easy to remove the loaf from the silicon. I bought them to begin my soap making adventures. I just wish they were a little taller, the soaps seem too short for my liking after I cut the bars.

I have had zero issues with these since purchasing. They're easy to use, the soap molds come out of the wooden boxes easily and they do their job.

These molds have been my workhorse molds for 2 years now. The corner of one of the wooden boxes started to come slightly loose yesterday but the mold is still usable and will probably be fine after some wood glue. For the price point and as much as I’ve used them, I have no reason to complain. I have 4 of these molds and ordering 2 more today!

We just got into making our own soap. These molds are perfect. Easy to use, no real clean up necessary. Have made several batches and these molds work so well. Will never use store soap again. Try it.

I've only used this mold once, so I can't speak to its longevity, but so far so good. One mold comfortably fits 40 ounces with about 1 cm to spare (I made an 80 ounce batch of cold process soap split between two molds). The silicone liner lifts out of the wood mold easily and the sides pull apart from the soap without sticking. I did still have difficulty getting the loaf out so I placed it upside down and peeled the sides up so it was inside out. This worked well for me but I don't know if it will damage the silicone liner long term. Since I only make soap for myself and will use these molds sparingly, I don't mind; if the silicone liner ever breaks, I can still use the wood mold lined with parchment paper.Wood insulates and my soap reached gel phase pretty quickly without any additional warming.

Price is more than fair, quality is excellent based on cost. Yes, they may be thinner than some others but only compared to ones at a much higher price point. But being thinner is a great advantage when stripping the soap out of the mold, just peel the mold over top of its self pull out the loaf, throw the mold in the sink, couple minutes later wash them out and they are like new and they do not hold any of the scents. Wood Boxes are light but well made, square and dimensionally dead on. I would not use the mold without them.I had to make a lot of bars of soap this last couple of months for a Chrismas party and I rotated through 4 molds with over 20 batches on these molds alone (along with some 3"ID Pipe molds I made. The molds still look like new, the boxes a little stained but fully functional. I have attached a picture taken when I was just over 1/2 way through. My wife is really happy that she gets her dining room back this weekend just in time for the holidays.
