Item is made of cheap material. I attempted to install this on my pistol, then as I began fastening my optic onto it, the post broke off. I didn't even have to apply any effort in tightening the screw before the post gave way.

Great mount but the screws included bottom out on slide due to their chamfered edge. This means the plate will still be loose even when fully tight. My solution was using a smashed lock washer and that filled the gap pretty nicely. Would give more stars if hardware was correct, but over all a good quality piece once installed properly.

This product works as advertised. No issues whatsoever. Comes with multipl screw sets already coated with locktite (a very nice touch).

I was not able to find a socket cap screw with a shallow enough head angle that would snug this onto my slide. The adapter plate is too thin and the screws bottom out against the slide cut, leaving the adapter plate loose - not what you want for your optics mounting...
