I use this on a 1" curling bar. It works. I don't think I will use it for more than 80lbs. It is made of plastic and I use iron plates. It will work for now. I would purchase this again.

Took a chance on these due to price. After a few months of use, they have held up well. These are not exposed to the outdoor elements but are in an insulated (but not heated) garage. I'm happy with the quality and value of these.

These are really easy to use and definitely worth it but I would shop around for the best price

If you are in the market for these then get the ones like this that have the Allen bolt all the way at the back end. If the allen bolt is in the middle the plastic eventually swells due to the allen bolt and the weights wont slide all the way and get stuck where the swelling is.

I purchased a pair and used them for a week. As advertised, they are not metal. They work well and will, I think, last a lifetime as long as weights are placed on and taken off with care. I liked them enough to purchase a second pair.

They adapter worked great, correct size and included an Allen wrench. My only concern was the cost, thought they were over priced for something that simple.
