It's become an essential garden cleanup tool for me. One job that it really shines at is removing weeds that grow between sidewalk cracks. The mini-hedge trimmer is good for trimming some shrubs having small-diameter branches.I'm not absolutely positive, but it looks like the blades come apart for sharpening when the time comes.

This trimmer is a very nice size. Easy to use. I have a larger Ego hedge trimmer which works well for our larger shrubs. This is so much easier to use on the smaller shrubs. Since we already have a varity of DeWalt tools, no new batteries were needed.Overall, pleased with this hedge trimmer.

I looked for over a year for clippers that would be easy for me to use. I was gonna spend the $$ on a dewalt, but I did't need something that big! So, I found this on amazon and decided to try it and it's perfect for me to use. Right after I got it, I trimmed all the bushes and trees in my yard. I didn't give it 5 starts becuase you have to hold two buttons with operating that if you use it for an extended time, your wrists start to hurt! But's its a great product!

What else can I say, it's a cordless shrubber. I bought it because it is cordless, lightweight and ease of handling. Good for small trimming jobs instead of me using a much heavier hedge trimmer. However, it is still noisy so ear protection is a must. I wish the gardget has some kind of a hanger so that I can just hang it on the wall in my garage.Additional comments: I finally got a chance to use it in my front yard flower bed. The shrubber doesn't have enough power as a hedge trimmer, can't even trim a 4 inches tall perennials properly. Probably is only good for trimming small annuals or grass along the edges. Disappointed with the performance of such gadget. Regret buying such tool, waste of money in my opinion.

I bought this as it was compatible with my De Walt batteries and way less $$ than the brand name one. I'm really impressed with it. Great little tool for trimming the few shrubs I have. The blade is shorter and really manageable. I haven't used the 2nd attachment yet. I'm absolutely comfortable making this recommendation and would buy another one!

If you’re getting this unit to trim grass around flowerbeds or trees ! It does not stay sharp very long and does not cut well without Extra considerable effort and it made a cheap plastic ! I Definitely do not recommend and wished that I had !

These are nice and sharp easy to use and with the Dewalt battery i haven't run out of charge yet. The only suggestion I have is a long handle to attach the grass clipper to. to use while standing. Save the knees.

The small blade works fair the large one is useless, the motor does not have enough power for the large one and just works the small one. i was trimming some grass and weeds around a new tree i planted and did not want to damage the bark with a weedwacker.

I plant lots of trees around my property that I have to put cages around to keep the deer off of them. Grass tends to grow high around the cages and inside as well. Using this trimmer is easier to use than a weed eater and I don’t have to worry about damaging my tree trunks. It’s perfect for minor upkeep around my trees. It’s lightweight and easy to handle. I haven’t used the hedge trimmer yet but I’m looking forward to it. I do recommend this product.
