Given that I have some tools that are over 100 years old, it is hard to say how long these might last. If I were a professional woodworker I would probably buy a product that was… well, professional. This product is in the correct price range for someone who may only use “it” two or three times a year. I hope to be pleasantly surprised as the coming years pass.

I purchased these to use on wood. I wasn’t sure how abrasive they would be so I would have been happy if they removed any amount of material decently. What they did to the wood left me wondering if I misread the description right. Imagine taking a tiny jackhammer on a piece of wood. That’s what it was like. It just like pummeled the wood. It didn’t remove any material. None of the sizes. These would be most suitable for carving cheese or butter I think. So if that’s what you’re using them for, I think you’d really like them.

I am a furniture installer. Some times I come across a situation to where I have to insert a product in to a factory cut out ad the box will not fit. These burrs are ok buy only just. They don't have enough bite. I modded mine with a Dremel cut-off wheel to make them more aggressive.

THE SHAFT ON THIS SET IS NOT 1/4 SHANK OR 1/8 . WILL NOT FIT IN MY RYOBI ROUTER OR MY FLEXABLE HAND HELD ROUTER TOOL . PLUS I LIKE TO ADD I DID TRY TO USE THEM WITH DRILL BUT THEY ARE NOT WORTH THE TIME TRYING . USED ON A PIECE OF WHITE PINE AND WON'T CARVE , ALL THY DO IS MARK UP YOUR WORK !!!! I WON'T EVEN GIVE IT A 1 STAR .SORRY I HAD TO GIVE IT A 1 STAR JUST TO SUMMIT MY REVIEW
