I like it, I like being able to manually inject dye or oil without having to rely on that stuff going in along with a charge. Easy to use

I recently used the Oil and Dye Injectors Kit for my car's AC. The 30 ml filter helps inject oil, preventing compressor issues, and the fluorescent dye makes it easy to spot leaks. The kit is versatile, fitting various AC systems, and comes with handy 13mm and 1/4-inch SAE fittings. It’s durable and handles up to 425 psi. Overall, it’s a great tool for quick and effective AC maintenance.

This kit made adding the UV dye into my AC system easy. I didn’t want to recharge the system again before looking for the leak, so I didn’t vacuum it out. This means I had to fight against the pressure in the system to inject the dye, but it was easy to do. Now hopefully I can find the leak with a UV light.

Doesn't ratchet, so be ready to give this thing the beans and then disconnect it. It's not a great design, but its at the right price and works. If you need something for very occasional use this is it. It even comes with spare seals.

I like this as a DIY addition to my A/C tools. In the past when i needed to add dye I could only do it by purchasing the freon with dye in it so next time I look forward to having this handy. It is made of plastic, maneuverable with one hand so that you can inject the dye without needing both hands. Includes an 8" service hose and a "quick-connec coupler to tap into your system. It came with a spare rubber piston ring and an o-ring for the brass outlet. I did a test with the tool submerged in water because I wanted to see if it would leak. At first it leaked around the brass fitting where it screws into the plastic syringe, but with a half turn of a wrench to tighten it it stopped leaking and was fine. There is a stop-nut on the plunger that can be set to inject your pre-set amount of dye.

Most oil injectors are big 4-8 ounce units that are often too big for automotive use when you may only need 1-3 oz. This unit holds 30ml (1oz) of the whatever PAG or mineral oil you need. The fittings sealed tightly and clicked on easily; the hose does not leak. I tried this out servicing a 20 year old R134 system and it it did the trick adding 2 oz of oil after replacing some failed components. It's a handy, cost effective tool.
