This will then allow connection to an oil cooler. In addition it has two 1/8 NPT ports that allow for the fitting of temperature or pressure sensors and installing an oil take off for turbo or superchargers etc (no thermostat). In a vq37vhr it causes a significant oil pressure drop.i went from 70 at 3000 rpm to 44psi at 3000.also the temp valve dosnt seem to ever stop the flow through the cooler...in 70 degree weather temp never got close to the sandwich plates open/close temp..it's supposed to be closed till Temps hit 180ish..my Temps never got over 165..wich indicates the oil is running through the cooler at all times..it looks like a well made plate.its just not a great fit in vq's, the oil pressure drop is also a scary thing on a high hp build.im boosted@12psi so oiling issues are a real concern..

The oil cooler adapter filled a need It enable me to install the remote cooler plumbing in a tight space caused by the header. The lines attached at the top keeping the hoses tucked in away from header tubes. Only one concern is that the adapter could have been made a little shorter in height, that would provide even more clearance. Otherwise it's a great product.
