Instruction for Use - Locking
1. Slide the dust cover to reveal the keyhole, then insert the key into the bottom of the lock hole.
2. Ensure that the lock body is in the unlocked position (the double deadbolt should be pushed into the lock body without exposing the lock hole). Next, pull the U shackle until it is fully inserted into the lock body.
3. Turn the key 180 degrees counterclockwise to remove it. (Tip: If the key does not turn smoothly, apply a little oil and try a few more times.)
4. Confirm that the lock body is securing the U shackle.
Instruction for Use - Unlocking
1. Slide the dust cover to expose the keyhole, then insert the key into the bottom of the lock hole.
2. Turn the key 180 degrees clockwise.
3. Pull the U-shackle out until it is fully separated from the lock body.

For easier disengagement of the U-shaped shackle, push it firmly against the locking bar and use the rotary key. If it doesn't unlock, clean and lubricate the lock cylinder with WD-40. For any questions or issues, contact our OKG service team.

I like this chain/lock set very much. I’ve had my high-$ motorcycle chained to a steel post at my apartment complex for 8 months, and no one has messed with it. I’ve not had any issues with the lock, but it is under a cover, so doesn’t experience any moisture or icing conditions. I did notice that the weld on one of the links is a little questionable … hence the negation of one star. I’ll modify the review if any problems.

This seems like very good quality. I was not able to use it though because it was not able to go around my hitch. There was a picture of a review on here where someone showed the shackle of the lock fitting perfectly around their trailer hitch end. This must have been a smaller trailer hitch because it came nowhere near able to fit around mine. Also the shackle was not quite long enough to snap the lock around the part that inserts into the trailer hitch although it can fit over the inserted section. I am returning.

Bike Thieves are EVERYWHERE!I bought this lock and chain for a new Electric Bike I purchased. I just moved back downtown and I didnt want to have to drag the bike in and out of the locker room everyday throughout the summer however every bike Ive ever owned has been stolen by thieves - some will even put your useless bike locks back where they were after taking the bike.The first night I left my bike outside... Sure enough someone tried to steal it.. I saw scratches and cut marks where the key hole is on this lock. That was over two months ago and there hasn't been another attempt as far as I know.. If there has there has been no evidence anyway.The Lock works extremely well and is worth the purchase even for regular biking.

This is the only padlock my son found suitable to secure his precious new VTT bike. After weeks of research all over the world. It is indeed very impressive!!! Quite heavy so he carries it in a backpack when he's riding his bike. It will deter the more ruthless of thieves, I have no doubt !!! My son is relieved to park his bike in town and so am I. I want to thank the company who delivered the item in a very secure box with padding. We live in France and I was worried about that. So thank you.

I love this bike lock. I have an electric bike that i like to take out to go get medicine and groceries, and on numerous occasions this lock had thwarted potential thefts of my bike and saved me money. It’s nice and hefty, and those manganese steel chains are quite durable. It’s long enough to easily lock my bike to bike racks and pole, and it’s portable enough to fit in my backpack.

Heavy beefy thicc boi (LOL)I assume it deters bike thieves when I lock up my bike in public places since it hasn't been stolen currently. Definitely looks like it would be a real pain in the butt to try and cut through!

I feel at ease when I use this lock, there's no anxiety when I leave my bicycle locked with it. Pros: solid construction, easy to use. You can cinch the lock through the loop. It has a protective cover so you don't scratch your bike. Cons: chain is heavy.

I used this lock less than 5 times - on my 5th time, my key broke in the ULock. There was no incremental weather or other factors that could’ve contributed to the ULock issue. As this lock was chaining my stroller outside my house (and we have a newborn so needing this daily), it was a problem. There is no way to get into this lock or chain by civilian means.. I ended up calling a Locksmith who had to cut through the chains with a welder at a fine cost of $250. I contacted OKG on their website chat for options to help and they responded a few hours later that a Axlegrinder was an option to break the lock. No word on further support or refunds. I wouldn’t recommend this lock if you value getting access to the things you lock up. Compared to my kyptonite keys, the key that came with this lock was flimsy and I’m not surprised it snapped

Got this lock for my wife’s bike and was very surprised to find out it is basically the same as the kryptonite New York cinch ring chain 1275 but at a fraction of the price. It seems to be made out of the same materials, has the same design, same features and same type of lock. I own the kryptonite cinch chained for my bike and if I could do it over again I would probably save my money and buy this one. I doubt there’s much of a difference and if there is I’m sure it’s not worth the price difference. This lock is a fantastic lock for the price if you can handle that #ChainLife

The look alone of this lock will deter a thief. The thing is heavy. I've locked up an expensive tandem bike in some sketchy areas and don't worry about it with this lock. I lock it with the u-lock that comes with it and another larger u-lock. I've paired these with a bike alarm. Nobody is taking my bike!! Be warned, this lock is heavy.

The lock doesn't feel all that sturdy. But the chain, oh man, the chain is wicked. All in all I'm satisfied besides the fact that it's a pain in the ass to carry in a backpack. Thinking about getting a motorcycle bag for my passenger seat so that I don't have to Lug this on my back on long trips

Got this for my dirt bike its kept in an unlocked shed at night worried someone will steal it. This definitely gives me peace of mind I noticed the lock was pretty solid had bit of fight opening it the odd time but if I have replace the lock I’m still happy to have this hulk like chain… update After only having my chain and unlocking it a handful of times the lock itself broke the key was useless read chain replace the lock frustrating

The bike lock works well, and the addition of the 'noose link' makes it just long enough it to lock through the frame and both tires of my bike if the post isnt too thick. The lock is fairly heavy, but that is the point - it it weighed any less it would be compromising on security. Figuring out how to carry it took a bit of trial and error, but for me the best way to carry it was to loop it around my waist, though YMMV. I've also had some luck looping it around the crossbar on my bike, but it did shift around some while riding.The lock and chain came well packaged in some very nice foam, though with its construction it could probably have been thrown directly out of the plane and landed with just some scratches at my door.Other than the weight, my one nitpick about the device would be that the velcro that holds the fabric sheath on the links has a tendency to come loose. The sheath stays on decently well on its own, so it isnt an issue, but if you want the cleanest look then you might consider sewing the velcro tabs together since they shouldn't need to be removed often.
