Note: We recommend the OKG 12mm (1/2 in.) thickness security chain. Chain links must have an inner diameter greater than 18mm. Otherwise, they will not match.

Why Choose the OKG SMALL U Lock?
OKG U lock is constructed of 18mm diameter hardened manganese steel. The locking bar is encased in hardened housing and attached to both sides of a dual locking crossbar within a hardened steel housing. The vinyl-coated lock body and shackle prevent scratching of your valuables while the lock is in use. High security can resist hand tool attacks such as bolt cutters, saws, hammers, chisels, etc. Our mini U-Lock is wonderful for indoor and outdoor security requirements.

Great lick mechanism works well and it's a beefy lock to go with a Beefy chain.Amazon only sent one key which is why I'm giving it three stars. I contacted OKG and they are making new keys supposedly, I'll update when and if they do.Keys have been made by the manufacturer, great support team.

For the price I can’t see how to beat this. I wanted a heavy thick lock and this works well for locking up my motorcycle with a very thick chain. Would definitely purchase again. I like that it came with extra keys too.

Seems tough, feels good. I've seen some reviews about people being unable to unlock their out locks, this maybe produced because they don't know exactly how the mechanism of this lock work, is not a traditional lock, it's a disc lock... Which means that if all disk inside the keyway are not aligned with the key, the lock is not able to unlock.Appears safe, heavy enough and because of it height is easy to attach to some parts of the motorcycle and carry with it without extra weight in your backpack.

They send you 4 keys for every lock and the chains come in a carry bag. I had no issues locking things up and keeping safe. I can feel that the lock mechanism isn't the greatest as they are wafer locks, but overall they work pretty good. The rubber sleeve keeps them from scratching things up if you attach the lock to something other than a hold down.

This lil' chungus of a lock feels incredibly solid. Having 4 keys is a great way to ensure you have backups without needing to contact OKG for a replacement.Locking/unlocking feels smooth, and the key stays in the lock when in the unlocked position - so you can't accidentally walk away from the lock without it actually being secured.

Needed a better lock for on car bike rack. Use a much thicker cable (construction site size 3/4") and needed a bigger lock opening. So far - easy to use and fits the needs. Hopefully a good enough deterrent to keep the bad guys from trying to steal my bike(s).

I bought this Mini U-Lock thinking it would fit my OKG Heavy Duty Security Chain, unfortunately I didn't look close enough at the chain specs or the U-lock. The diameter of the U-lock shackle is too thick to fit through the Chain, my mistake. I contacted the seller directly and asked them if they had a lock to fit the chain I bought as I was very impressed by the chain I did not want to return it. They responded quickly by offering me a replacement heavy duty padlock for free as long as I kept the U-lock. Most likely I will be purchasing another chain to fit the diameter of the original U-lock shackle, as the lock feels very solid is the right size and appears well made, supported by a company that stands behind their products. Take note there is no mounting system for this lock included, but it's so small I can just put it in a bike truck bag, or back pack to transport, although I intend on just leaving it locked to my bike rack at my work.

I used this lock 5 times without issue and today I couldn't unlock it. Too cold? It was minus 5 Celcius. I soaked it with WD40 and after 15 minutes, it finally unlocked. Perhaps that's all it needed but I will do some more tests before I lock my bike again.
