The connection of the cable to the holder is garbage. The wire eventually will break from use. It is attached by inserting metal wire into a plastic grommet at a right angle which makes bending back and forth occur at a single point. A wire cannot take this for long without breaking.

It was handy while it lasted. Cable broke in less than 2 weeks. It did see heavy use as I work in a pool hall, but still not a practical lifespan for the cost. Luckily for me, I really only bought it to have the metal ring attachment for predator chalk to replace the rope one I'd been using.

I kept loosing the stick chalk holders you just put in your pocket so I was so excited to find this product. It was working great until it broke out of nowhere this past weekend, just under 2 months of use.BummerUpdate: bought one mid may, broke again on july 5th… avoid at all costs
