Solid machine and works and looks amazing. 45 minutes to fully assemble. Don’t tighten all your bolts until everything is perfectly square. Great theater room accessory!

The 60 watt light burned out in one session. I bought a 40 watt for now.I added a harbor freight black magnetic paper towel holder. It looks like it's made for it.It makes great popcorn and fast!!!Getting the right mixture took me a few tries. But now I add three heavy tablespoons of golden barrel butter flavor coconut oil with 1 tsp of very potent flavocol salt in the pot right before I turn the heat on. Then I turn the heater on and it melts less than one minute. I don't wait at all, as soon as that oil is melted I add a 1/2 cup of popcorn. It's done in less than two minutes. Pretty awesome addition to our basement home theater!!!Update!I still really like this machine but the amount of rust on the ceiling of it is really bad. See updated images. They made the entire inside stainless steel except the top. I went down recently to make fresh popcorn and there was rust flakes just laying on top of the kettle lid that had fallen off the cieling and I was taken back by how deep its pitting. I get it salt added to the kettle process, but my goodness. I'm going to have to make a new stainless piece at some point because this one will not last.A good machine but very disappointed about this one area.

I bought this for a birthday party and now I'm using it all the time. I have used a number of different popcorn machines over the years. We rent them sometimes for big company events where I work and I always volunteer to be the popcorn maker. I must say this one is very easy to use. It is exceptionally easy to clean. The kettle easily slides out. It makes it easy to wipe everything inside down and rinse out the kettle.The popcorn is amazing. I have perfected my recipe even further now that I have my own popcorn maker. I use a mixture of coconut oil, Orville Redenbacher's buttery flavored popping & topping and Flavacol. I think it tastes better than movie theater popcorn. I am so glad to have such an amazing machine.I was originally a little worried about the size. I wanted one that would make large batches for when we had guests over. They were sold out of the 10 quart when I ordered so I went with the 8 quart. You can pop a full cup of popcorn kernels at a time. We had a group of seven over this past weekend and I made a double batch and it lasted for hours.I didn't have any issues with damage. The parts all arrived in pristine condition. I also didn't have any issues putting it together. Everything fit up just as it should and it looks great. I love the cart design as it makes moving it around a breeze and keeps the countertop space free for other things.5 stars all around. If you're looking for a popcorn machine look no further, this is the one.

One of my favorite purchases off of Amazon.I always worry about making a big purchase such as this on line - higher in cost, and a fear that it wouldn't look as charming as it does in the pictures. So much of the value to me is the way it looks. What a hassle it is to return things!However, I was grateful, and so thrilled that the Popcorn machine looked just like it did in its pictures.... I love the vintage look of it, and it looks good in my front dining area.It makes great popcorn!The item was easy enough to put together.... nothing was missing, and nothing was damaged. It's a huge box, and I was grateful my boyfriend was around to help me put it together... We got it set up relatively quickly.I bought some of the recommended popcorn that also comes with the popcorn kernels and coconut oil and butter seasoning. It was easy, pre-portioned, you just add the contents of the individual packets it all at once and it cooks perfectly.Then we tried using organic popcorn and coconut oil from trader joes, and that worked great too. There is a compartment where all the popcorn stuff can be stored.Like all popcorn machines you have to listen carefully to prevent burning. Our first batch burned a bit because we weren't able to get all the popped kernels out of the pot quickly enough before turning off the heat. We struggled a bit to turn the pot to the side to shake the popcorn free. I had to help some of the kernels fall out so I can turn to dump the rests of the popped kernels out of the pot.I get better and better each time I use the machine.With the outdoor movie screen, this is a perfect purchase!
