purchased this bike rack to free up up some space in my garage.I have a cruiser that blocks my laundry area so I always had to shimmy around it.I love this rack! It was easy for my boyfriend to install and very functional. He just pops the bike up when I'm done with a ride and it's out of the way of the laundry and no longer taking a ton of space on the garage floor.I have a child seat and basket attached and it doesn't seem to be an issueVery happy with this purchase and will most likely purchase another for his bike & my kids

I hang two bikes in my sunroom. Both are from different companies. Here is my breakdown for this one:1) I hang both bikes in an area between the sunroom entrance and back door. This means I will swivel the bikes based upon need. They usually swivel to the left, but when I exercise, I swivel them to the right so it gives me more boxing room. This is a problem with this setup. It swivels like it should, but the bottom tire only has one option of where to place it if you want to use the metal wall saver. Most of the time it is fine, yet as you have to move the bottom tire over the extended part when you swivel the other direction (otherwise it wouldn’t swivel flat as it would hit), only having one side that has metal against the wall means your tire will brush the wall. This has left marks on my wall where tires were not perfectly clean and the black from tire. Maybe not an issue for you if you’ll only swivel one way. See pic to what I’m referring to.2) The setup is strong. I have no issues when I swivel, and I do at least once a day. It also doesn’t make a loud sound when I switch sides like prior ones did.3) Great value for the money. It would have gotten 5 stars if the bottom had metal on both sides. Again, maybe you will only swivel one way so it’s a moot point.

I have tried three of these wall-mounted bike systems and this one is my favorite. The mount is larger than competitors and there are 4 mounting holes on the wall plater, where others only have two. Both the hanger and the lower wall plate are metal. It swivels and has a locking pin for the upper hanger. This took me about an hour to install. Mainly because I couldn't find a wall stud. Once I found a stud in my wall it was a simple process. I currently have a 25" mountain bike hanging on mine and it has done great for the last several weeks that it has been in use. I wish I had started with this mount. I would recommend that to anyone that is interested in using a wall mount.

Generally works fine. However, it's a bit sloppy and you can't put the swivel stop pin in with the bike in place, which is kind of dumb since it's the point of this kind of mount. You literally have to unload the weight of the bike to get it in. Also, the bracket has 4 mounting holes which means if you're mounting to a normal wall, two will be in a stud and two won't. That's dumb. They could have just put two holes in the middle. I also got a different brand that just had two in the middle and it's fine.

I first saw this design of wall rack in a crate & barrel store several years ago and it was around $100 (which I couldnt believe). So when this showed up in my products list I had to give it a try and after using it for a while it's exactly what I was looking for.Make sure you screw it into a wall stud and not just the drywall.Pros:- simple and easy to install- doesnt take up any room when not in use- allows the bike to be folded closer to the wall (every little bit helps in a small garage!)- has a channel for the rear tire to rest on as well (keeping it off the wall)- excellent value and MUCH better deal than crate&barrel!Cons:- be careful hanging a dirty/muddy bike do you're not marking up the wall while trying to hang itOverall I like how clean and simple it was to install and for me it gets the bikes off the floor where they take up a lot of room.Recommended.

It costs a half of the price of a similar one. The whole concept of keeping bikes just a few inches above the floor and not touching the floor to reduce the momentum ripping off the upper attachment from the wall is puzzling. Bikes standing vertically on the floor would be easy to hold vertically by two-four (2-4) lightweight snaps/bands even under an angle to the wall and not perpendicularly. The rack is not so heavy and its capacity of 50 pounds is sufficient for the vast majority of bikes. It wisely provides four (4) mounting holes in the upper base and not only two (2), like in the other, expensive one. That assures a good attachment. The bottom part can be attached lightly, as only pressed on. It comes with all screws, but not a needed drill or screwdriver(s). It is easy to install.

Beautiful design! I love the function of this bike rack and how it saves so much space and doesn't leave your bike hanging out in the way like most other racks. Will definitely be ordering more for the rest of the fleet!
