Dearest Readers,A tool of particular interest has come to my attention. It is called the Olson Saw Spiral Scroll Saw Blade, a curious contraption used for the delicate art of woodworking. While such pursuits may seem beneath the notice of a lady of quality, I must admit a certain fascination with the precision required for such tasks. Those acquainted with this blade speak of its remarkable efficacy. It is said to cut through wood with ease, producing results of the utmost delicacy. A tool such as this is undoubtedly essential for those with a passion for woodworking, whether amateur or professional.Yours truly,Lady Whistledown

Love the spiral blades for this kind of work. A little of a learning curve. But work great!

My first project using a spiral blade and it cut the 1/4" Baltic birch plywood cleanly, front and back!

I may be expecting too much. These are fine blades and I'm using them to cut through almost 5/8" Oak/MDF laminate to make puzzles. They are great for making the intricate cuts required to make good puzzle pieces but they are not fast. On average I get about 20 minutes or 2 rows of the puzzle before I break one. Since these do not have pins, mounting a fresh blade can take 3-5 minutes on my scroll saw. Its kind of a pain. I tried the larger spiral blade but the cut is too coarse for my liking in this application. When I get better with my bandsaw and can resaw narrower pieces of oak, blade life and time of cut should improve.I'm generally happy with Olson blades so I accept that this is probably the best I can do as far as blades are concerned.

I bought theses blades after reading others reviews and found them to be a perfect fit for my new jewelers saw that was sent with lighter blades and were easy to break. I haven't broken any of these blades. I am very happy with the purchase. Great value.

These are a Pain in the Butt to get seated and tightened in. Once you do, oh my goodness, it's pure love on the scroll saw.I pushed these blades into 1-1/2" x 8" green treated wood to cut out a fish, it was amazing how well they did. They cut 360 degrees, never have to worry about tight areas. I did notice they seem to stretch a little more than a common blade in the first 15min I had to pause to tighten the blade adjustment 4 or 5 times, after that it was great.

These seem like good blades. They are very thin. I have broken 2 already. I am new to using this type of blade. My edges look wavy. I'm sure I will get better at cutting with them after some more practice.

Great blades and they make fine/small scrolling very easy. They also break very easily if you're not careful. That's not the blade's fault though. Very worth it to buy these especially if you do very tight turns and small cut outs on the scroll saw.

These cut great in any direction leaving a very thin kerf. I use them with a 5 inch fret saw for clearing dovetail waste. They work great and last long. I highly recommed them.
