Perfect. Well made, with good welds and Nylon insert lock-nuts. Serves as its own base, holding 45# plates clear of the floor, which is nice for changing, and makes picking up for sets safer. Super easy to assemble in under 10 minutes. Some have criticized that you probably can't fit more than 800# onto it. Most of us will never need to worry about that. At max weight, seems PLENTY strong enough. Rubber pads where it touches the floor would have been good, I'll put mine on a rubber mat. Frips a little wide for me (70" height, 71" Span). Plenty roomy enough for squats. Outstanding value for price. Don't know a more expensive one could be better, unless you are in the thousand pound club.

This is a good bar for the price. Easy assembly and I have no complaints. The design allows easy weight loading with sufficient height to load 45’s easily which is why I chose this style.

This is worth the price I paid, $95 USD. IGNORE the fools who complain about the packaging. Yea, the packaging sucks but it has nothing to do with the bar's performance. IGNORE the fools who complain about the knurling. If you're a serious lifter, you're using gloves, chalk, hooks, or straps anyway. The most common complaints seem to be coming from weak lifters who want a shiny polished piece to add to their other unused equipment. If you're using your equipment, yea it gets banged up.The biggest negative about this bar is you can only fit 5 or 6 iron plates per side depending on the brand. So unless you're pulling over 800 lbs, it won't matter to you.I do not recommend this bar if you plan on using heavy bumper plates. You shouldn't be dropping a hex bar while you're inside it anyway! Think about it.

You'll be hard pressed to find a hexbar that is as good a value as this one. The bar was packaged well with carboard and a cushioned fabric which left the bar pristine upon arrival. It is sturdy as had a nice weight and feel. You'll be glad you ordered this bar my high school boys are very pleased as is my back now that I'm not killing myself doing the straight bar deadlifts. Don't hesitate to purchase. A great addition to any home gym.

Ever see an item on Amazon, see the price, and think it's too good to be true, something has to be an issue with it. It has to be cheaply made or won't last long. Well, this Everyday Essentials Hex Bar is the real deal! It arrived well packaged and super fast. The welding is real good. The sturdiness of the bar is excellent, it will last for years to come. It arrived with with a bit of paint chipped off but I didn't buy it because of the paint job so I don't mind. I am just letting you all know about it, don't expect it to be perfect all the time. This bar is a tremendous value for the money. Get it! There will be no regrets. I will admit to being surprised about how good it is.

Seriously great bar for the price point! I paid under $100 for it. Does the job and is absolutely sturdy.There are two things I wish were better, but would likely deserve a higher price & this is still a steal - wish the sleeves were a bit longer & wish the knurling on the handle was a little more aggressive (it's reeeeally light). We've since put some tape on the handles & that has made this bar a treat to use. If you're lifting much more than 350#ish, you'll probably want to use smaller plates (like steel ones).

Good bar for the price now that most retailers raised price on home gym equip during Covid.Bar solid and good quality. Can prob only load 4 (maybe 5) full size plates on each side but enough for my use. Has nice black finish and decent knurling on handles.Packaging left something to be desired - came wrapped and taped up in basically a movers blanket with cardboard sleeves covering most of the bar. But this was not exactly a fragile item so seemed to work okay other than a couple spots where the paint was rubbed off.
