For an expensive and delicate item like this, I would have expected it to be packaged properly so it doesn't get damaged. I returned the first one hoping the replacement would be better but to my surprise, the same product was sent back to me after a few days - damaged! Wasn't expecting this kind of service. I can't comment on the quality of the lense though since the product wasn't used.

I honestly did not expect this lens to be this good. I bought a used Boreal microscope on eBay and this lens, plus some immersion oil (required for this lens) and it works great. If your microscope light/LED is dim then you will definitely need an upgrade, but mine is just enough to illuminate clearly through this lens. I did quite a lot of research and shopping around before I got this lens and this is probably as cheap as I would go and still expect a decent product in this category. Tbh $50 is a pretty great deal, make sure to shop around though as you might be able to find it cheaper for auction or included in a scope.

Benutze es am Zeiss Standard. Wichtig war der für Öl-Objektive große Arbeitsabstand von 0,5mm.

Sweet Lens. Bought it to upgrade from 80x. Worthevery penny. It resides on my Celestron PentaView 5 MP LCD Digital Microscope.

Great! Used it for study with Microbiology lab class. Light weight and easy to carry out. Clear image compare with other microscope objective lens. Brought it to used with Fisher microscope at my college's library. It work well with Fisher's microscope. Save money than buy a entire microscope for home. Great quality for microscope objective lens worth $ 39.

Great! I own a veterinary hospital and our old oil lens was ruined. I bought this one for a Nikon microscope without high expectations. It fit perfectly, arrived quickly, and is clear as a bell. I just ordered another one to keep on hand. For $39, why not have two?
