The typical glued on mirror on my TJ fell (as usual) so I made a bracket to mount this one on the windshield frame.

Mirror housing is plastic and mounting arm is metal. Mirror is tight and holds position. I installed on a CJ7 fiberglass windshield frame by drilling three holes.

Worked great for my yj. Had to notch in to fit around my strap bar but after I did that it fit perfectly. I caulked the third hold and painted it back black because I just preferred to have it be removable if I ever had a reason to change my mind. No more falling rear view mirrors.

This mirror technically doesn’t work for a TJ because only one bolt will line up. This can easily be fixed by filling another hole OR like I did in the photo by sandwiching the mirror under the stock loop. I found this creates enough pressure that it won’t swing down and you don’t have to drill another hole. I also have A dash camera mirror attached to this which adds extra weight and it seems to be handling it fine. I haven’t taken it off road yet of course but if it falls off during some rough terrain, I’ll be sure to update the review. (Also! I was worried I wouldn’t be able to use my sunvisors with this mirror but it’s small enough that they can get by no problem)

This mirror is being used on a Chrysler 1936 sedan. It installed very easy. For me it is a good buy.

I love that it was what I expected. Great field of view. Little shaky after installation, but was easy to fix.

Necesitaba un retrovisor para mi auto antiguo y está fue una excelente solución, quedó perfecto. El material para el costo es muy bueno.

Like others have mentioned, it's not an exact fit for a CJ5, or at least a '77 and up. I might not recommend it if you don't want to run your own holes. But for me I didn't really care, my jeep is never going to be a show vehicle and the window frame already has holes that aren't stock. It'll work for me, I used self tappers in one stock hole and made a spot with another. As for looks and function, it's just fine, feels a little flimsy but it's a rear view mirror that won't get much use in my application.

For the money, this thing is amazing. I have a '95 Bronco, the heavy stock mirror of which recently decided to give up adhering to my windshield entirely. The second time I used one of the adhesive kits, the mirror button actually took a chunk out of windshield--somehow the glass failed in lieu of the adhesive under the onslaught of the desert sun. No idea.Accordingly, I decided to mount this little guy with some sheet metal screws, which did the trick. Keep in mind this is a small mirror, so if you have a large SUV or whatever, you should pair it with one of the that are also inexpensive. With this combo, I can see the entire road behind me and then some. The only downside is that the mirror tends to move around a bit as the metal/plastic heat up, but that's due to the added weight of the panoramic mirror. Also bear in mind that there is no night setting, not that the mirror claims to have one. If this thing were $5 more and made entirely out of metal, it would be 5 stars. As it is, the socket is metal-on-plastic, which I'm sure will fail eventually. But for $10, I'll just pick up another one.Awesome buy!
