Selected this based on RR website for my tire-gear set combo. Speedo much better than stock but still reads 3% low. Not the gears problem. Simple replacement, no issues

Make sure you look at that chart before you buy. This fixed my issue with my speedometer so very satisfied with it.

De acuerdo con la velocidad que marca el GPS hay una diferencia vs lo que marca el tablero pero solo en algunos puntos y es mínima , en otros si coinciden y quedó mejor de lo que estaba por lo que puedo decir que corrige la velocidad relativamente bien

If you're rippin 4.88's and 35's and that speedo accuracy, or lack there of, is driving you nuts...hop on one of these! I didn't care about mine being off, until I did. Then it drove me insane. With non standard size tires the speedo can be then be inaccurate, replacing the Speedometer gear based on the available charts (search online for the chart that advises which number of teeth you need) assists returning speedometer to showing accurate speed and distance.Now my speedo is accurate with 2-3 km at 100 km rather that 10-12 under calculating and no more speeding tickets.15 Minutes to replace old with new - lots of YouTube videos show how.

Ordered this for my '98 Jeep XJ with the 242 Xfer case. Fit fine. Plenty of YT vids to walk you through it. Not difficult. If you install and the speedo doesn't work, you probably just need to "clock" it appropriately and tighten it down again.My speed is now 1-2 MPG slower than indicated and the odo and info center are now kinda useful again.

Very easy install even for a novice. Buy the oring at the same time and make sure your jeep is on a level surface when you replace it or ATF from the tcase will spill out. 5 minute install. For best accuracy on how many teeth to get, get the actual tire diameter spec from your specific tire company’s website, don’t use the generic sidewall dimensions

not sure what happened with the others guys part that made him this part 1 star. worked just perfect for my XJ. i have a 3" RC lift with 31" tires so i was running just about 6 mph over the limit when traveling at 60 mph. this calibrated my speedometer just as expected and i could never be happier. now i can figure out when to do my oil changes without the math.Quick and easy install, took my about 20 min (followed a youtube video). i purchased the gasket for this, but didnt bother installing it, although i may regret that later. so far no leaks though.all in all, i recommend this product to anyone who wants there speedo to be calibrated correctly.
