I had thought this has mounts for phone use too. (This is clearly on error on my part - not on the seller). So I can't use it for what I needed it for but it seems to be a good product regardless. Good quality materials and nice bright light right out of the box! If your intention is for a camera mount light this would be a good one!

The light is well-packed with all the parts needed for camera attachment. Attached straight to the flash shoe, the light makes a decent walk-around fill-in light. The color rendering is good on the natural setting, and the warm and cool modes are good for mood changes. The gooseneck is strong enough to hold the light, but the light's weight makes the camera feel unbalanced. I've been using the light mostly with it mounted to a small tripod for desktop as an ancillary light for jewelry photography. It works very well in this regard.

This is a small but mighty light. It’s very bright and makes a difference in my videos. It charges up quickly and holds a full battery for a while. I’ve on charged it once since I got it a week ago. I have used it several times and it’s still charged. It’s simple to setup and everything is included with it. Great light!!

The On-Camera Video Light with Extension Arm, Portable LED Mini Light Bright for Photography, Rechargeable Vlogging Light for DSLR Camera is a pretty bright light that can be dimmed up to a certain point.There are three color temperatures: I am not sure the exact temp but I suspect a 3000, 4000 and 5500.It's a cold shoe mount so you can really use it anywhere and not just mounted on your camera. Since it's not powered by the camera, you can use it with your phone camera, too. It will sit up on the mount on its own.

I really like the idea of an on-camera video light. I really like that it has a USB-C charging port, as every rechargeable device in this range should. I really like that it includes a gooseneck to elevate the light and prevent red-eye in people and pets. I really like that the light is plenty bright enough and has a few color temps you can dial in.However that's about where the likes stopped and unfortunately those only earned 3 stars. They include the gooseneck but they don't include any way to actually use it. On the light side, you can screw it into the 1/4-20 thread in the bottom of the shoe mount, but on the camera side there's nothing to screw the gooseneck into. If you have a SmallRig cage or something that has spare 1/4-20 mounts, you're golden. If you're like me and just have a bare DSLR, you'll be scratching your head, wondering how they expect you to use the flexible extension.My second minor gripe is the amount of force required to operate the buttons vs. the strength of the cold shoe mount. The buttons require some force to activate. You can't just press them with the index finger. You'll need to cup the light with your hand and activate the buttons with your thumb, or use two hands. Neither is ideal when you're trying to focus on your shot, and operating the light will definitely take you out of your flow. An also related gripe is that the power needs to be pressed for a bit to power on/off the light. That one could be an intentional choice by the manufacturer - probably to protect against accidental powering on of the light while in your bag, or powering off the light inadvertently.All-in-all, it's a decent light and deserving of the 3 star rating. It'll get the job done but no one is going to mistake this for pro or even prosumer gear. Considering the price and the functionality it does offer, I'd recommend it.

This review is for "On-Camera Video Light with Extension Arm, Portable LED Mini Light Bright for Photography, Rechargeable Vlogging Light for DSLR Camera, GoPro, Phone, Compatible with Sony Canon Nikon Panasonic"Not as described- missing the essential bottom part to connect to camera cold shoe - view posted photos!The light would connect directly ONLY to camera WITHOUT the extension arm/goose neck. The result would be like the picture labeled "others" low and right on top of the camera. To attach the extension arm to raise the light above the camera to eliminate the shadow of the lens (especially a long lens) you would need the bottom shoes as described/advertised in this product - see first 2 screen shots. But instead, they supplied a different piece of plastic that doesn't have the same size hole/threading to connect to the other side of the extension to go on top of the camera.At first, I thought I got an item with missing a part, so I requested a replacement t-only o get the exact item with the same missing (bottom) part to connect the extension to the top of the camera.Other than this issue, The light is USB rechargeable and has a good quality light with different temperatures to choose from.

The light itself charges up and works fine; all the controls work as expected. It is slightly odd that the left brightness control makes things brighter and the right one dims things, but it does work the way it is marked.The goose-neck in the listing looks like it would be handy, but the one provided in the box I got was somewhat shorter and included no provision to actually attach it to a cold shoe. The light itself has a foot for a cold shoe molded in, and that does allow the mounting of the light in a variety of ways. Just not on the end of the provided goose-neck. See picture.I tested a simple camera with automatic exposure control turned on and took one picture with and another without the light on. At close range, the settings went from ƒ/3.3 1/30th at ISO 250 to ƒ/3.5 1/30 at ISO 100. That is a bit more than a full stop, all considered. Pictures are included here.
