My son had one of these and I liked it so much I bought one for myself. I've gone through my first stick of butter with no problems. The butter is always perfectly sliced and melts quickly due to the thinness. I like that it has a cover so that the butter isn't exposed to moisture or odors in the refrigerator.

I like this product generally. This is the third one I’ve owned. The first was given to a friend that was fascinated by its use.The second one finally failed after about 6 years of use. (The targeting device stopped working.)So, I bought this new one. I chose blue for some reason. It looks and seems to be identical to the yellow versions I had in the past.The problem with this one is that the device, the manufacturer’s box and the shipping bag all have a very strong smell of mildew. Very strong.I recommend that buyers find the yellow version and buy from the seller with the most sales/reviews.

We liked this product so much that each of my parents had to have their own! You can keep a cold stick of butter in this device. Store it in the fridge. Anytime we need of pat of butter, we just take it out pop off the bottom click out a few pats of butter and put it back in the fridge. It has been very very easy and is wonderful for those dump cakes that need 35 pats of butter covering a 9 x 13 pan.

Very easy to use. One-handed use puts a patty of butter right where you want it. Great for frying with butter because you can drop the patty straight into the pan without having to scrape it off the blade of a knife sometimes 'losing' it on the stovetop or the floor. It makes a uniform size patty every time. It's a little pricey, but worth it. I chose a unit with a stainless steel blade because I figured it has to last longer than a plastic blade.I recommend it.

I loved the convenience of this thing. My butter was stored vertically in the refrigerator, so it took up less room. I could pull it out of the refrigerator and have my pats of butter literally seconds later. It was easy to clean, easy to load. After only 4 months of light use, it broke. I'm so disappointed. I loved that thing. But it should last longer than that.
