If your home has a septic tank that collects affluent when you "flush" should use this product once a month. This does not apply to those connected to a municipal sewer. We have our septic pumped out every 3 years. The "pumper" always remarks our system is properly maintained.Simply attach a piece of paper to the packaging that says "JAN, FEB, MARCH....." and you can cross it off when it is flushed.

These works well and they come in a set of three. They’re smaller than other popular brands so I use all three in one month to ensure that they work. I will continue to use them though because they’re very affordable. Very easy to use. That was my reasoning for taking away a couple of stars.

Iread about this product on a local site and found it here on amazon and it was a good price. Used it in this place I bought in 2013 has an aroebic septic system and had been terribly neglected. Just recently when having some work done on the motor I was told the septic seemed to be in very good shape. I thought this great because it had never been pumped out or taken care of before I moved in,,,Ive had it pumped out once, sprinkers replaces and motor on system replaced but the tank and septic fluids look good. I have to give credit to this stuff because I havent used anything else and it had remarks about improving your system.

I have a cottage with a very old septic system that with use, you were able to smell faint traces of sewage odor. After treating it with One Flush the smell has been eliminated. Very happy and surprised how well it worked.

I am not sure how bacteria can live in a dry form. I guess there is one way to find out! I am going to have a lab test it and will update my review when I have more info. I always thought bacteria needs moisture to live. We shall find out if this is what it says it is. They don't say what lab tested it. There is no way to get a refund on this product because there is nothing to return so think before you order. I tried to get refund myself. If your looking for a treatment go with those in liquid form which I did. Amazon has a few them. I got the micro-lift which there is no question of product quality. You can even tell by the intense smell of the product.
