Its a pretty high quality item for what I need it to do. Fits CYMA M4 mags prefect with out wobble. The pistol mag pouch fits a hi-cap speed loader and I removed a piece of the radio pouch to store H8R speed loaders. I got it to fit actually pretty quickly despite being a bigger guy and it fits really well.

I love that this can be used in several ways. You can wear it as a chest rig or remove the panel on the back and attach it to a load out vest. The shoulder straps are padded and not just webbing. There are three strips of velcro on the front for morale patches, personalization or identification. There is some molle on the front of the shoulder straps and in front of the main pouch. Since I use this as a medical chest pack I modified the portion where someone might put magazines so I could easily access other needed items. None of the pouches are removable but I don't mind. It keeps everything close and tight to the rig and weighs less that way. The one thing I wish it had would be a little more in terms of organization options in the main front pouch. When you unzip the pouch it doesn't flop open due to two retaining pieces of fabric. This makes it nice for accessing your items without them falling all out at once but there are only two simple mesh sleeves inside. It makes organizing and separating my syringes, needles and meds a little more difficult. Nonetheless it's amazing and in my opinion better than any of the rigs my colleagues are using.

Long but honest review from an Airborne inf vet.Alright folks, First things first. I was looking at ditching my old AR500 carrier and switching over to simply using a chest rig. I work as a contractor for security companies on military installations and need a different color carrier for duty anyway.I was really hooked on hailey, mayflower, and the company who made my Army gear which was London bridge trading co.However, as a 26 year old father of two.. I could not justify spending $400+ on a hailey or mayflower. That’s just stupid money..So I started digging around and came across this company. I did my research, it’s a smaller company that is family owned. They do outsource some gear but their equipment features legit components like yyk for the plastics and zippers, legit cordura for the main materials. So far I’ve rucked with it under full load, with all 4 full AR mags, all 4 fully loaded sidearm mags, multi tool, cleaning kit, Med kit, chemlights, compass, map, marker, ifak, tech (phone and garmin gps) snacks, spare ammo, hydration, and a spare tq.The whole thing under load with all of my gear weighs around 13-18lbs after adjusting the straps (which are very comfortable and feature d rings for comms and hydration tube) the rig does not wiggle, or allow items to jostle and make noise. Definitely living above the standards I had for the price!!!I went through this rig thoroughly to make sure it met the same inspection standards my equipment had to meet when I was in the army (today nov-20 /2020 marks an exact year since being home.)I went through inside and out, each pouch, each seam, each strap, each clip, the webbing, the mesh on the rear to prevent direct contact with the carrier to allow breathability, authenticity of color, materials.Honest to god the only gripes I had were that the pouches weren’t modular. Meaning the three pouches you see are all stitched to the main platform. The platform does flip off of the mesh exposing a double flap of Velcro for you to attach a dangler or another pouch. The chest rig does include a qd system for rigging to a plate carrier.Inside of the bottom pouch is double Velcro which allows for securing any equipment that has Velcro to the inside so it doesn’t flip around. That was a HUGE surprise.I couldn’t find a single seam or stitch that was not double stitched or triple stitched, I couldn’t find any rips, tears, compromised in material, threads unsecured, I couldn’t find a piece of material that wasn’t genuine cordura.I value this chest rig at a significantly higher price than the $40 I paid right here on amazon.I will be purchasing through this company again, I guarantee it.I’ve already recommended this exact product to some friends and family members who are also active service, veterans, law enforcement, search and rescue/fire/ems, or just plain bush crafters. This is a genuinely good product.I do want to recommend that if you buy this, you should also look into the Leyden dangler. It is a perfect match for this carrier.

I used this primarily as a placard for my plate carrier to hold a variety of different tools. Other reviews mention the excessive shock cord retention and the odd size of the magazine pouches. This is true but manageable. I removed the shock cord tabs and plan to buy magazines retainer inserts. The plus side is that each of the 5.56 pouches could hold two mags snugly or one with a loose fit. I have fit rangefinders, digital cameras, pull lines, etc. in there. I managed to dig up some quick attach clips from elsewhere to retain the placard on my PC. One small gripe I have is that the side clips used for shoulder and waist straps are not quick attach. When using as a placard, it is very cluttered to have them remain in place, especially because the rig slightly overhangs the hook and loop field of my kit. I cut them off with a single snip of dykes so they can be reattached as needed until I replace them with something designed to do so. Another improvement could be to not stitch the pistol mag pockets into separate slots. This could increase the general capacity by still fitting double mags but also allowing for smokes, charges, whatever. I do like the removable hooks and loop cover for times when used as a stand-alone chest rig to help with friction retention. I’m happy with the Multicam and Cordura quality. As for the central pocket, it is the main selling point for this rig. A great spot for batteries, gps, and smaller need it right now items. Not sure why the pistol pouch covers are super long, perhaps to accommodate extra tall stacks but the pull loop on the bottom is a nice feature for adding small carabiners or what-not. Also the Molle on the GP pouch is a spot to add a tourniquet holder however grommets and shock cord below would be preferable. This of course can be modified by the users. Hope some of the little details are useful to anyone looking at this versus another rig.
