Stinks for days after use. Stains very easily, takes forever to heat up, I wouldn't recommend these and if I ever did, I would quickly let the person know I was only joking.

The box did not contain any instructions; I was expecting to find recipes.

Too thick, small surface area and very heavy. Takes too long to heat up and once heated it’s just fine…so, it’s in the basement and soon to be in the trash. Replacing with a standard, thin pizza stone.

When our stove malfunctioned sending the oven on a never-ending heating cycle (finally got it shut off after reaching 900F), our old baking stone fractured badly. We put up with it until I could find a new one of similar size and dimensions. This new one is really good, heating up just fine, although I give it an extra 30 minutes to catch up with the oven's temperature, especially when making pizza. To lengthen its service life, I use parchment paper between the stone and whatever I'm baking on it. This prevents staining from toppings, without interfering with heat transfer. The pizza crust always turns out beautifully.I highly recommend this baking stone. Nicely thick, even heating, and seems really sturdy.BTW, I always keep baking stones in the oven, only ever clean it with plain water (after it's completely cooled) and use only a plastic scraper to remove stuck on bits. I never store it in a cupboard, as this kind of material absorbs moisture from the air and will become damp and turn into a mushroom farm. LOLUPDATE: It's been over a year since I got this, and it still going strong. HIGHLY recommended. :)

My oven baked unevenly. I put this in the bottom and the oven now bakes evenly and doesn't burn things on the bottom!

I had a cheaper pizza stone that ended up cracking. After researching what's available on amazon this one seemed like the best one for the price. The quality is excellent. It was shipped in a very well protected box. The stone is large, super thick and heavy. Make sure to place it on the bottom rack in the oven and preheat the stone to reach max temperature before you bake a pizza on it. Cleaning is easy, just scrape off any burnt bits and rinse, do not use soap. A stone will turn dark and look bad the more you use it but that's totally normal. Soap is bad for it.

Seems to work just fine. I like the large size so I can fit a large pizza on it or you it to help ensure even heat for croissants.

I use in my smoker at higher temperature to cook perfect pizzas, breads, etc. This has plenty of room and even cooking.
