This music stand is terrific -- It's very lightweight, and set up and tear down is intuitive. An elementary child can do it alone -- even the first time, without assistance or instruction. The stand does/can look somewhat like a crossbow when it is folded a certain way, so some people (like my kids) may get distracted by that, but it's certainly not a characteristic which would (or should) deter most people from buying it.All adjustments are simple to make, and the stand can quickly be customized for the singer or musician using it. The folded stand also fits neatly into the included storage bag, making it easy to carry and very portable.

This stand is excellent for traveling. I have 3 kids ranging in height from 4’6” to 5’10” and it can be adjusted to fit them all. It would definitely be fine for someone who’s 6ft. All the pieces are attached and you don’t need to remove anything to fold it up. The top piece folds like a normal travel stand but then it swivels upside down to lie against the pole and legs once they are folded up. The case is great and the folded stand doesn’t take much space. It would definitely fit in a carry on sized suitcase. It seems pretty sturdy also. I’m very happy with this and it will make vacation practices and zoom lessons much easier.

This is a fully adjustable, collapsable, fold-back-on-itself music stand that is small and lightweight when folded yet feels sturdy when manipulating the adjustments. The only issue is it flexes from side to side at the neck of the music holder meets where it meets the stand. But i've had mine for a couple of years and it hasn't broken. I'm impressed enough with it that I bought a second one.

Quite nice stand, clever design for the desk, and very effective 'clips' to secure sheets. Unfortunately it's too bulky as an effective gig or travel stand (other musicians might also criticised the weight, and that it's not the most stable either, but I don't mind, if only it would fit into my recorder, or cornet/horn case)....

Pros: Very sturdy, folds up easily into one continuous piece, great convenient carrying bag, great stand for the price. I like being able to adjust the tripod legs. I'm a harpist and it works well with the harp.Cons: Shelf is only 1" deep. Even my old silver stand was 1 1/2". So it truly will only hold sheet music or a light booklet, nothing heavy. The knobs are a little hard to tighten but I like them better then the old hinges that would catch your fingers.

After lots of research and careful review of the photos, and customer reviews, I purchased this stand. I have had a flimsy somewhat standard student stand for years, that did not hold enough music, and fell over a lot. This stand is terriffc. I stands strong on tough sturdy legs & has two adjustments for height. I am tall and need this. It holds my one inch thick notebook and accommodates the large songbook "the Daily Ukulele" without it slipping off or having to be clipped. And it has a case with a strap. Between having to carry my purse, one or two ukuleles, a bag of music notebooks, and a stand, anything with a strap and a case makes it all just a bit easier. I can't stress how sturdy it is, so I'll just say it again. Very well made, and sturdy!

I bought this stand to use inside and outside. I thought it would be very sturdy. It is somewhat sturdy. I haven't used it outside yet, but that time is coming soon. The shelf is a little narrow for some music books. I will keep it and use it inside for sure, but I think it may be risky outside if there is a wind

I was on a mission to find good stand options after breaking half a dozen standard metal folding stands. First I bought an OnStage folding stand with a solid deck. It was good, but carrying the deck around was annoying so I started leaving it at home. I then bought a herculese stand with a folding deck. Great product, but complete overkill when I'm doing orchestra work and don't need to hold up a dance book. This stand is the perfect comprimise. IT looks good and feels sturdier than other folding stands, but isn't at all bulkl and doesn't add a bunch of weight if you are already lugging around other gear. I would recommend that this be the first choice for anyone looking for a versatile stand. If anything it may be just a little too light for large books, but I think you'd still be glad to have this in your lineup.

Bought this because I practice and play guitar in a number of different locations, e.g., standing, sitting, home, church, group practice and gigs etc., and the configurability is key. The three things I like most about this music stand:1. It's compact and comes with a travel bag - it doesn't have to be completely decomposed, and then futzed-with to keep all the separate pieces together2. It's sturdy and sets up very easily - slide it out of the bag, fold the sheet music head up and lock, slide the legs down and lock, adjust height (2 extensions) and lock, final-adjust sheet music head, done3. It adapts easily to location environments - works equally well in low/highj stool seating, or standing, and the sheet music head also adjusts fore and aft for best sight-line positioningI'm nearly 6' tall, and this stands enables me to easily stand or sit and play comfortably, while the stand remains solid and stable, with no leaning or tipping. Haven't used this yet in an outdoor setting, but I'm sure that some minor "weight" over the legs would keep it grounded. The nice bit is that when I'm done, it folds compactly, slides easily into the travel bag and, with the attached strap, slings easily over my shoulder so I'm hands-free to carry my gig bag, amp or other items.
