Lightweight and compact, these stands complement the portability of PA rigs that use small speakers. The stands adjust in height to accommodate a variety of venues and applications and feature an upper shaft that supports all standard 1 3/8" speaker cabinet mounting sockets. To adapt to available floor space, the base spread expands and contracts. Heavy duty construction, braced bases, and nonslip feet work together to deliver exceptional stability and load balance. These stands work for me ok. As others remarked, a little bit shaky if you raise them too high. The pole ends going into the speaker cavity are a bit small, causing a less than optimal seating of the cab. But they do work. If I had it to do over, I'd try the Fender mini stands, as they appeared to be a little more beefy and go a little bit higher, similar price.
