Onwote makes great products, from their cameras to their NVRs. Their customer service is top notch, too. Very customer friendly and easy to install new cameras as well as the hard drive you need to record. It’s as simple as removing a couple of screws.

It seemed like a toy. Very cheap and bad quality item. It was waste of money and time. I hope Amazon takes this cheap item off their site.

Great NVR and Camera setup. I have the 8port NVR and 3 (6MP+2x8MP) POE cameras. The NVR POE switch has a DHCP server that cannot be disable for the built in POE switch. If you plug the cameras into the back of the NVR, it will create a separate and isolated 172 network which makes directly accessing the cameras difficult. In order to directly access the camera you have to plug a computer into the back of the NVR to configure or create a statis route to merge the two networksI found it easier to just plug all the cameras and the NVR directly into my existing network and existing POE+ switch. This way all of the equipment is on the same network segment and makes it much easier to manage.Either way you choose the go the camera picture quality is excellent and the system is surprisingly good for it's price point. You will need GaurdView app on your phone and link the NVR with P2P through Star4live to have remote viewing

Can some one tell me how to see the record, I used to have a previous one that came with my cameras but I purchased this because the NVR no longer connect but it seems like this one doesn't record

My old system just cant compare to this. Excellent recording images the setup wasn't super easy but expect that with all NVR's well worth the time to learn Highly recommend
