I have a beautiful old canoe....built in 2000. The seats are ash, with cane webbing. Gorgeous. But the cane doesn't last forever, so every 7 years or so I replace it. The one thing that helps prolong its lifespan, is some sort of cushion. I have been using folded beach towels....but these boat cushions? Are much better, In fact, they're the best! They are comfortable and substantial! And there's the added bonus, of being able to use them as a flotation device. Love 'em!

We purchased a new Type 4 PFD to replace an older one. The new one we just bought on Amazon was more expensive then others we looked at but appeared to be of a higher quality. When we got the new one we were right about the quality. It is well constructed and I am sure will last many years.

I read some reviewer comments about these cushions being too firm. They are indeed firm.......for me this was what I was after. My use is as a 'seat' for a small sailing skiff (a Crawford Melonseed). This cushion serves well for keeping off of the teak floor boards, and quick shifting from starboard side to port side and port side to starboard side when tacking. It will do just fine.Overall this is a well made item. The material is a vinyl with 'cloth like' properties. Well stitched. The side grab strips are quality and well secured. The density of the foam would make for very good throw if needed.For shifting around on the floor of a sailing skiff, and keeping a bit of hard wood pressure off the 'bottom', I like this item.

This Kent boat cushion is extremely well constructed...tough and rugged....made for serious outdoor wear and tear.The heavey-duty outer shell is really holding up and the vibrant blue color has yet to show any signs of fading in the hot Florida sun! The inner cushion itself is keeping its shape beautifully...and is often used to sit on while we are out boating!The straps are wide and easily grabbed for easy tossing! This is a very good, high quality product and I might add, a great value purchased through Amazon! We now own several for our boat.
