Super fun for the kids perfect for learning more about insects, plants, etc…has a nice 3.5" foldable portable screen and easy to carry handle with several color dyeing optical lights to chose from. Also has usb connection for laptop, cell phone to screen share what your viewing and capture even greater details.

This microscope is a great tool for young minds eager to explore and learn more about the world around them. The OOZSTAR Microscope has a small learning curve but is straightforward enough to be quickly mastered. A fantastic feature is that it doesn’t require being plugged in to operate, allowing children to take it outside for experiments in the yard. Additionally, the ability to detach it from the base adds versatility to its use.My only minor concerns are that the product is primarily made of plastic, making it somewhat prone to breaking, and the controls could benefit from clearer labeling. Despite these small drawbacks, this is a fun and engaging product that’s perfect for fostering curiosity in young learners.

I got this for the classroom because it utilized a screen for viewing versus an eye piece (as found on a typical microscope). The kids have enjoyed using it almost as much as me. I have found it easy to use and zooms up to 1000x, making it perfect for my curricular needs. The students have had fun exploring the included slides and have been motivated to discover even more specimens of their own. While I thought that being able to remove the lens portion from the holder would be perfect for exploring outdoors, I found that, trying to hold the scope steady at 1000x is not easy. However, overall, I’m happy with this classroom tool and can’t wait to explore it further.

I got this kids' microscope for my 8-year-old son, and it’s been such a hit! It’s perfect for homeschool science projects, and honestly, it’s just plain cool. The 3.5-inch foldable screen is a great touch because my son can easily see what he’s looking at without squinting through a tiny eyepiece. The magnification goes up to 1000X, so he can really zoom in and explore all kinds of tiny details. We’ve looked at salt and sugar under it—he thought it was wild to see how different they looked up close. We even checked out his fingerprints, and he got so excited spotting all the little ridges and swirls.One of the best parts is that the microscope detaches from its stand, so it can be used as a handheld pocket microscope. My son loves taking it around the house (and the backyard!) to investigate random things like leaves, fabric, or even crumbs. It’s portable and easy for him to use on his own, which I appreciate because it keeps him entertained while I get a little break.Overall, it’s been a fantastic addition to our homeschool setup. It’s educational without feeling boring, and it encourages curiosity and hands-on learning. Watching my son get so into discovering the “invisible details” of the world around him has been the best part!

I was impressed by the quality and design of this microscope. Although it’s intended for kids, I found some high-quality features that I don’t have in our real lab microscope. Overall, it’s easy to use, and everything is intuitive. The image quality is excellent, and the magnification is impressive.It is fully functional, with good slides and specimens to observe under the microscope. I appreciate how easy it is to flip the image, change the magnification, and adjust the color. The charging process is straightforward too. It’s easy to use it as a portable microscope, and that is awesome!The only drawback that prevents me from using it in my real experiments is the narrow base beneath the sample, which makes it challenging to place tissue culture samples. Additionally, it’s made of plastic, so it’s very lightweight and easy to move around. But these features are perfect for kids usage!I enjoy the ability to take videos and pictures effortlessly. Overall, this is an advanced kids' microscope that offers excellent features and quality.

This is a well made, easy to use microscope for kids and adults. I think I played on it more than my grandson lol. There's not much space between the base and the actual microscope. For instance, I tried to look at my fingertip under it but my hand wouldn't fit. However, the microscope can be released from the base to look at stuff that won't fit. I find the picture quality to be excellent. I'd definitely buy it again.

To start off this is a very interesting piece of equipment. I love the fact it has a digital screen and you can really zoom in and see some small items. Even every day items like coins, paper money, other household things you just want to get a closer look at. As I mentioned before, the digital screen allows for the family to see everything at once which kind of keeps everybody’s interest. This unit is made of plastic and it’s more of a digital camera than microscope, but it is really fun to use.
