I used over 6-months ago on my own vehicle and my daughters as well. I could have spent a little more time sanding but over all lens are still fog /faded free. I then bought a 2nd kit to gift to someone who's lenses were really bad. They were dark yellow. The results were not as good as the 1st 2 vehicles but 100% better than what he had before.Just wondering after using this 2-times if they there shouldn't be an option for the real dad lenses to start with 500/800 grit then move to the 1000 and 3000?

It took me a bit of practice with the rotary pad. The fluid compound tends to fly around, so the second side got much wider masking.My result is not perfect in appearance around the edges, but functionally the beam is not diffused at all. You can probably do even better.Six months on, and no change at all.

Great product! I've done a few of these sort of restoration kits over the years. This is by far the best outcome I've ever had. I'm sure some of that is simply learning from the past, but the kit itself is great. 5 stages including the ceramic coating which in my opinion is a must and an important part of the final product. As far as longevity, we will just have to see.Only small note: Order separately a couple of extra alcohol pads. They don't include enough to complete what they put in the instructions which is a silly since it's arguably one of the cheapest items in the kit. Still, for a couple bucks you can get all you need to show up a the same time as your order. Already have had 3 friends order the kits based on the FB pictures I posted, hard to argue with such great results.

Worked great at first and if you're careful its good for one use, but at one point the sand paper wore through and further scratched the plastic, not very durable but good if you're careful

Polished up heavily yellowed lenses very well. Used a drill, die grinder too fast.

In the photo it looks like an excellent product. But when it arrives and you see it, it seems like a joke. It only contains two types of sandpaper for each headlamp. the bottles are tiny, and the cleaning pads are laughable. also the instructional video. The man seems to do things so easy in lights that to my taste are in excellent condition. I did everything that the instructional video said and with much more effort, but the result was disastrous. I screwed up one of the headlights on my x5 (left side, which has no tape) now I will have to spend $ 1,700 for a new light thanks to this product.

Pictures are a bit deceiving on item description.Bottles are really tiny but the product works great!It comes without instructions you will need to scan the QR code and bring it to the car.Weird instruction format... Goes like this...1. 4.2. 5.3. 6.7. 10.8. 11.9. 12.

I’ve always thought of these DIY remedies as just snake oil. Big promises of shiny and amazing results just to be disappointed by a lackluster reality check…..Well to be honest I’m a believer now. We’ve purchased a used 2005 Mini and are in the process of breathing new life into it. One of the previous owners decided that a smoked “racing” look was appropriate for this car and PAINTED….yes Painted the headlamps with god knows what kind of canned stuff leaving the lamp as you could see in the first picture. Naturally this project might be a bit too much for the OPT7 kit but it did give the amazing results they promised.I removed the gunk on the headlamps with 400 and 800 grit sandpaper and after the wet sanding for a while the lens looked like the faded cloudy version you see in the pictures. It is here that the OPT7 started to work it’s magic. I followed the steps in their youtube video and the results are remarkable as you could see in the finished picture above. This relatively inexpensive kit saved me from replacing the headlamps on this car and returning the bright eyed look of this little car. I’m a fan of this product and will eagerly spread the word.

Product as.rrived yesterday. It had everything I needed. It has detailed instructions, but takes a little time. Do not expect to be done in 15 minutes. t did make my headlights look new from 10 feet away, almost new from close up. Mine were glazed over bad, and "cheap" aftermarket replacements were $500 for the pair. OEM were 5 times that. This product saved all that money, and was as easy as changing headlights.
