I bought this IR Light to add on to a 6K Night Vision Camcorder that I bought on Amazon. I saw it in an Amazon Live Review and fell in love with it at first sight. They say it takes 4 hours to charge but mine charged faster the first time. The brightness of the light is dialed in on the back next to the power button. The light gives off plenty of IR light to record video in the night.

So, I don’t realize what this was. I thought it helped normal camera see in the dark, and not for cameras the utilize IR vision. I tested it on my security cameras that use that technology, and it does work, and light up the area.

It charges USB and lasts quite awhile.Super inexpensive and great performance.Slips onto the boot, flip the dial on to your preferred brightness and boom!Only works with cameras that can see IR light though. Doesn't just work on any camera.Recommended.

I ordered this Ordro LN-5 Mini IR Night Vision Light Infrared Photography Light for studio-based infrared photography.Photography with infrared light looks quite different from visible light photography. Normally, such photography is done outdoors in full sunlight. I really wanted to try lighting objects in my studio with IR. This little light allows me to do that.The light is not particularly powerful, so you won't be using it to light up any rooms with IR. It is strong enough, though, for anything from macro photography up to head & shoulders portraits. Unless you are using a camera that has been modified for IR, though, be prepared for some very long exposure times.As noted by some other reviewers, this light is not invisible. That is, you will definitely see a red glow from the LEDs. That might be an issue if you are planning to use this light to capture wildlife, but it has no effect in a studio environment,If you're interested experimenting with IR, this is a relatively inexpensive way to get started.
