I had been storing my vacuum in the garage, and either the temperature changes or mice destroyed the little brushes on the sides of the baseplate and the roller. This fit perfectly on my older Oreck and gave new life to my vacuum. Thank you!

this base plate is better than the one that came on the machine originally. All the details are there. When I decided to rebuild my commercial XL Orick I was hesitant at first to replace the broken/cracked base plate. I didn’t figure an aftermarket one would be as good as the original. This replacement for exceeded my expectations and is well worth the price.The bags and replacement belts are coming along with a new brush roller Dot not from Amazon… Which will complete this rebuild/restoration. I bought the machine at Goodwill for $11…

The base plate fit my old Oreck upright perfectly. I especially like the newer version with the extra front wheels. My original base plate only had 2 rear wheels.

Love my Oreck. The old base broke after 10+ years. Not happy. Replaced the base, which I must say was as easy as replacing the belt. New happy.
