Saw some reviews I saw before I purchased, said it was stiff and thin. It is not soft horsehair, but for my purpose of using the Oreck small canister for dusting corners etc, it works great and doesn’t get plugged up quickly. I also have the softer horsehair hair attachment for more delicate dusting.

Well since Oreck makes excellent equipment that last for years these things just wear out over time, as there reasonably priced I trim mine back every so often as the ends get frayed out! I have even bought accessorize that didn't come with it originally, extra extensions, different ends, that kind of stuff. They probably would last longer if I didn't trim them but the work better that way on different surfaces! Will I buy more in the future you bet! As well as those handy through away dirt bags! I'm still looking for an attachment with an extra fine brush for my computer with a long flexible line and a 8 to 10 inch shaft about the size of a crayon!

I didn't even know I could get a replacement! I've had this Oreck mini vac forever & always use it exclusively on our vehicles. The brush that originally came with the model 'melted' when my hubby used it clean out a dryer vent! I missed when doing the cloth seats on our SUV. Anyhow I just thought I'd check for a replacement when he had me order parts for the dryer on Amazon & found out it was there too!

I have had the small ORECK hand held vacuum for a lot of years, but have not used it for a while because brush was worn way down and the hose had a small hold. I ordered a hose and brush from Amazon which fits perfectly! My blinds are clean, my baseboards, ceiling fans and a lot of other hard to reach areas!Works great…..again!
