The one I received was not the one pictured. Will not work. No phone number on paperwork to get issue fixed quickly.

This is what you need...and you should change it and the gas lines out every two years minimum.

Having a metal valve in this age of plastics is comforting. I had to replace the petcock on my generator that we used to get through H. Irma. The fuel tank got too hot due to very little cooling air circulating around the generator at one point in time. This caused the fuel to pressurize the tank too much and blew out the petcock / grommet. The grommets are a one use only item and are usually rendered unusable due to losing some material when they blow out. I bought a few as when it comes time to replace these, stores are usually not open when you need one. ( valve and grommet ).

Great replacement. Very bad original design.Don't buy anything that has a fuel tank with a fuel valve that relies on a grommet in the bottom of the tank that's made out of a material that gets degraded by the fuel and then falls out, draining gasoline all over the place and presenting a huge fire risk.
