Bought this because my plastic throttle assembly on my mclane edger broke. This does not fit at all. Tried to return and the seller classified this as hazardous so it cannot be returned. Buyer beware.

The cable on my Mclane edger needed replacing and this one did the job. The cable itself was longer than what I needed, but I understand that the manufacturer makes them adaptable to fit multiple machines. I viewed a video online which gave great instructions on how to shorten the cable to fit. It was much easier than I expected. Very pleased.

Excellent product but due to my error it was not for my machine. Arrived sooner than I expected too. The seller was awesome and allowed a return. I highly recommend this seller. I wish it had been correct for my machine as it was sturdier than my original part.

I've had this lawn edger for many years, the throttle cable wasn't working. About 3 years ago I used duct tape and bailing wire to fix it. That lasted until just recently, when the actual lever broke. I thought I would check on line, but didn't have much hope since it was such an old machine. Much to my surprise, the part came up and looked exactly like my old one and wasn't a bad price so I ordered it.When it came, it took about 20 minute to put on. It is an exact fit and my edger works like a charm. Starts and turns off easily with the new part. I should have ordered this part 3 years ago rather than using duct tape and bailing wire. It would have saved me 3 years of headaches.
