Very good thatcher but start with the blade high and adjust it lower, if needed. It creates a lot of thatch so be prepared to for some labor.

Werkt perfect, afstand tot het gras is ook goed. Wel opletten dat je de veertjes niet verkeerd om monteert. Geeft zelfde resultaat als mijn elektrische verticuteer machine.

Really sorted out the thatch in my lawns - Need to elevate the blade by pushing down on the mower handle when stopping & turning or you get circles in the grass and travel at a fast walk when on staight runs. Really Pleased with the delivery time.

Zunächst muss man wohl klarstellen, dass dieses "Messer" kein scharfes Messer sein soll. "Messer" ist hier mehr als Form gedacht, wie ein Buttermesser, das ist ja auch nicht scharf. Dieses Vertikutiermesser ist also nicht scharf. Ich vermute das würde auch keinen Sinn machen, weil die gewünschte Höhe des Rasens nicht mit der Vertikutiertiefe übereinstimmen muss. Also erst den Rasen so kurz wie gewünscht mähen. Und dann mit diesem Aufsatz vertikutieren.Die zwei Federn sind nicht ganz einfach anzubringen. Sie verkanten sich sehr stark. Aber mit etwas Geduld findet man irgendwann den richtigen Winkel. Man könnte dazu bessere Abbildungen in der Anleitung machen. Das Anbringen am Mäher war bei mir problemlos (Honda BL 46 MTD 46 cm). Ich brauchte keine Unterlegscheiben.Ich bin Vertikutieranfängerin. Das bedeutet wohl, dass meine Aussagen nicht für Profis brauchbar sind. Aber ich versuche es trotzdem:Dieses Messer hat "nur" zwei Federn. Am äußeren Rand des Messers. Ich habe auch welche mit 4 Federn gesehen. Ob die 4 Federn einfach nur mehr gleichzeitig schaffen oder viel effektiver sind, weiß ich leider nicht. Die zwei Federn schaffen aber auch schon was weg. Je trockener das Moos, desto besser funktioniert es. Ist das Moos noch feucht, wird es nur platt gedruckt. Die Federn können sich quasi nicht im Gestrüpp verfangen und es rausreißen. Ansonsten hatte ich große Sorgen, dass mehr vom guten Rasen kaputt geht. Die Fläche sieht jetzt mitgenommen aus, aber es ist nicht so, dass da irgendwie Löcher in den Rasen gerissen wären. Das was abgetragen wurde, sieht auch aus als ob es weg könnte. Verfilzt oder eben trockenes Moos. Es stimmt, dass nicht alles in den Auffangkorb geht. Bei mir war es ok, ich musste nur etwas nachsammeln.Wie tief man das Messer legen will, muss man in der Tat mutig ausprobieren. Das scheint vom Mäher, vom Boden, vom Rasen und allem zusammen abzuhängen. Ich habe vorsichtig angefangen und mich auf Stufe 4 runter gearbeitet. Es könnte sogar noch tiefer besser sein, aber ich trau mich nicht :)Von mir also Kaufempfehlung. Sollte es Wirkung zeigen nächstes Frühjahr, dann ist diese Methode preislich absolut unschlagbar.

Springs are wound backwards and point up when mounted on blade with the blade mounted on lawn mower shaft.Yes, the blade is oriented correctly, there is a stamp in metal that says top. If you reverse the blade and put top facing down the blade rubs the mower housing. Rip off

Acheté cet lame pour demousser une bonne fois un pelouse étouffé par celle-ciMonter sur une tondeuse thermique de 173cc et passer en position haute et avec avec l'éjection latérale ma pelouse se retrouve sans mousse. Visuellement après le passage c'est pas très jolie mais l'herbe reviens assez vite. Les ressorts ne s'usent pas trop vite contrairement à ce que j'ai pu lire dans les précédents commentaires (c'est sur que c'est pas fait pour labourer un terrain ). Ne pas rester sur place non plusJ'ai juste dû modifier un peu la lame pour la fixer sur mon support de lame qui a deux point oblong et en diagonale.Je recommande cet article

I was little concerned that the thatching spring fixed to the blade would malfunction. Fly out and and cause major damage. It worked fine, no problems however I wear heavy boots just in case. Follow the directions for installation!

I am in the middle of a lawn project where I'm filling in and smoothing things out so I can change grass types. I tried to buy a dethatcher but right now they are hard to come by. I found this Oregon dethatcher blade. I attached in minutes to my Honda mower and put it to work. I was very pleased with the results. I don't need a dethatcher now. This worked great at a fraction of the cost.
