I am keeping the handlebar. It is not perfect, but doe it’s job for my use.Compared with Satori NOIRETTE plus handlebar:Significantly more sweep - my personal preference would be for this product (Origin8) to be same sweep or even a bit less than that of a mentioned above handlebar.Not as wide as one would think (even for average sized person) and certainly narrower than above mentioned handlebar. It is at the edge of acceptable range for me. People with wide shoulders may find it too narrow.Very lightweight, but because of that it flexes when pressure is applied to both ends (thin material is used). The above mentioned handlebar that I am comparing it to is much more sturdy. I would like this Origin handlebar to be more sturdy.Good rise (using it on diamondback edgewood bike) - better for the application in this bike than above mentioned handlebar. But that is purely application/preference related.

Had a straight bar that hurt my wrists and back. Went to the origin8 space bar 2 off and on road. Was ok but still same issue. Then made the choice to but this on. This really helped out the issue I was having. Only down side is making hard tight turns is not as swift as with the first two bars. But, I just commute and do not plan on doing any off roading with this bar. Plus, the bar has just enough forward curve to bend forward on windy days.This bar was not too wide for my cables. Only have to lengthen one cable.

I chose these when swapping out the drop handlebars on my daughters road bike for use about town. They combine high quality modern materials with a perfect classic profile. We definitely made the right choice and I would purchase them again for any similar project.

Aah, these give me a much more upright riding position and reminds me of the bars I had on my old 1963 Schwinn.

I used these to make an old hard tail mountain bike into a commuter. I purchased these because they were lighter and cheaper than bars available at local shops.The bars are much more comfortable than the flat bars I had before. The only downside is that I had to replace the cables, but that is hardly a fault of the product.

Purchased these bars for the wife's Full Suspension mountain bike. Also purchased the Avenir cruiser saddle, clamp on grips and a cable kit in order to make the conversion complete.Now you are probably wondering WHY on earth would someone want to convert a FS MTB to cruiser...the answer is pretty simple. We like the MTB, but the wife is about to have our second child this month and she stopped wanting to ride the bike at all due to how uncomfortable it it. She can now ride!The Avenir seat is ultra plush, and the bars are in the perfect position for a sit up and beg riding position. BIG improvement.The bike has 27 speeds, even though she needs only one, and it had front and rear discs so she can safely stop at any time without drama.Of course, as slow as she rides, she is never far from being fully stopped :), but I am happy that she can now accompany the 18mo and me to the park (we also have a Burley).Oh, and the bars are Aluminum, so the only real weight penalty concession was the seat.
