I wasn't exactly sure before buying this, so here's some details:- It fits in the controller, taking the spot of the two AA's that (most) controllers have.- It's a rechargeable lithium-based battery, and lasts a long time. Roughly 40 hours between charges.- It charges via a USB-C cable, and you can use it while charging.This is "bulk packaging" which means it's a just battery in a plastic bag. No frills at all.On a PC, and I haven't yet found a way to ask the battery how much power is left. It's not really a problem with the battery, but it is a bit annoying. It would be nice to have a power indicator somewhere.

I don't know if it has already hit its shelf lifespan but it lets me play wireless for maybe 10 minutes
