This is a legit military surplus style sling. Just like any other original I have purchased. Color and size is perfect!

Beautiful surplus sling in excellent condition! The hooks are very strong though and needed some needle nose pliers to bend open but otherwise it works great! Took it to the range today and it performed perfectly for some appleseed shooting styles

I was originally worried that this wouldn't fit my PAP M85 but it fit perfectly. This strap is definitely high quality, military grade. It looks like it could take a lot of abuse. I am pleased with the purchase.

Typical heavy canvas mil-spec sling. Russian-made “2018.” Easy enough to remove the extra hook so you can weave sling into the butt-stock loop. I think it’s worth the price because it is essentially brand-new mil-surplus. Sure, you can find them sometimes a little cheaper online in used condition, but you won’t know what condition it’ll arrive in. I’ll consider buying more as the need arises.

You could run over this thing with a truck and i don’t think it would matter. Very well made. This being said the clasp is very tight, you need pliers to attach or detach from your rifle. This could be good or bad depending on how you would like to use it, just an fyi.

I'm not an expert on this subject, but this sling seems totally legit! It's of very solid and durable quality, too. Unfortunately, I'm not able to attach it to my Yugo SKS in the correct, authentic, military way, because the sling's hardware will not fit through my rifle's toggle. Perhaps it would fit through a Tula's toggle or a Russian-made AK (don't know). I notice in the photos posted by other reviewers that most of them do NOT have it attached correctly, so they would not have run into this issue. (In other words, they merely clipped it onto the toggle, instead of threading through it.) I just stumbled upon a YouTube video where someone was saying that Yugos come with leather slings, so perhaps that is what I need to get. Nevertheless, this Russian sling is really nice and very cool! I will be using it on something...It was also delivered in lightening fast speed from someone named Vlad! Thank you!

This is not airsoft garbage, it is built for abuse. All the metal hardware is thick and stout. It appears to be treated steel. The attachment loops take some real strength to open and close- how you want them. The metal clasp is anchored to the canvas sling with 3 large rivets and pressure teeth, very stout. The sling material itself is tough. It appears to be high quality canvas, or something similar, not nylon. The adjustment length is perfect for my AK. Mine is pictured in its shortest setting, but length can be added if you want some more wiggle room.Is it real Russian military manufacture? Tough to say. Mine has a "2015" (2013?) stamp but that could be faked. Nothing I see can confirm or deny its origin. Either way, its got a great milsurp look and is built TOUGH. Buy with confidence.

Mine contained a charming little insert that read "inspected by Vlad" with accompanying Cyrillic. The product screams "functionality" and "utility" that you'd expect out of genuine un-issued milsurp. All of the components are sturdy and can endure whatever punishment you throw at them. The thickness of the sling enhances comfort with larger caliber rifles, (I tried it on my m14 with a full 25 round mag, and it felt really good, and we're talking about 10-12 pounds worth of hardware). I'd recommend hitting the canvas with scotchgard if you're planning on throwing it on a hunting rifle, or if you live in a climate with heavy humidity. I have it on a vz58 and it just looks and feels great. As someone mentioned, if you care about the metal components scratching the finish on your safe queen, either hit the clasps with a rubberized spraypaint or a medium then high grit sand paper on the toothier areas, or just go with a more suitable sling (something to the tune of deerskin or buffalo leather, heavily oiled with Chicago screws). I'm buying two more to pack away, just in case. Buy without regret!
