Sadly these are not glossy, they came with no protective coating and are matt, so they scratch easy. I’m sals they are not glossy.

These blades are a great complement to the crawler harnesses I build. The paint job and top coat are very well done. My customers are very satisfied. I only wish they came in bigger quantities.

I make a lot of my own fishing lures so I got these sinners for those lures that require them. They are basically good spinners, but I do have a couple comments about them.First, and this is my fault, the spinners are larger and heavier than I expected. My lures ae in the size range that use #4 hooks and I use them to fish for kokanee salmon. The flashy spinning blades give the lures action and sparkle to trigger bites. But these blades are both larger and heavier and overpower my lures. Again, this is my fault for not paying closer attention to the size as specified in the description.Additionally, again my fault, this set does not include any clevises to attach these blades. My lures do not use the metal wire shank, but 12-15 lb monofilament. The spinning, heavy blade without clevis would abrade and eventually cause or allow the line to break under load resulting in lost fish. So I would have been happier had the set included the clevises.I cannot fault the product for either of these issues. However, the description does say that the “blades come in a variety of painted holographic finishe[s]”. This is not true – they are NOT holographic in any way. Most of the colors in my set are thickly painted in what looks to be an enamel paint: a nice shiny finish and not holographic. This thick paint mostly covers up the embossed hexagon ridges of the hammered design finish, which almost defeats the purpose of the hexagons. This is not readily apparent in the photos even if you know to look for it.As long as you need a larger, heavier blade, have your own clevises, and you don’t desire holographic finishes, then these blades can work for you. But for me they are a disappointment.

These Colorado blades are about 3/4" wide and an inch long. They come in a nice variety of colors and all have a hammered finish. I like tying up my own spinners and these are perfect.
