I've been using it for a couple months now and it's great. It's a really made well ukulele on the cheaper side. I am in love with it and you'll be too. The shipping was well everything was there nice and intact although, they poke a whole in the uku box to slide in the tuner. It got me scared but everything was ok it's just a weird technic but hey; we all got our way hun.

I have had this ukulele nearly a year now and I can say with confidence that it is honestly one of the best purchases I have ever made. I bought it not knowing how to play, but being rather musically inclined I felt I could figure it out, and that's exactly what I did. I bought a chord book along with it, looked up some tabs, and started to learn. I began with kids songs and worked my way up to playing nearly anything I can find a tab for.It's durable; I haven't yet had to change the strings and I play it daily. It produces a beautiful sound both with or without a pick. It's light and comfortable to hold. The carrying case is durable as well, it has made two cross-country trips with me and held up perfectly. And don't get me started on the tuner - that thing is amazing! Clip it on, pluck a string, and let the screen guide you; it's really that simple. It lights up green to tell you when you're in tune. It used to take me a half hour to tune a stringed instrument but with this thing it's a matter of minutes. Love it.I can't recommend this uke enough. It's absolutely perfect and I'm so glad I found it. I'm actually looking to buy another one for my 10 year old daughter; she has played this one and it seems perfectly suited to her. Great for all ages, beginners or expert, it's in a reasonable price range and just a wonderful instrument. I very highly recommend it to absolutely anyone looking to buy a great concert uke.

Quality Uke, no imperfections. The action is a bit high so will have to sand down the saddle. Intonation is good. Strings hold tune quite well.

Nice package at a good price. I've had this sweet little Uke for about a month now and love it. The build quality and finish are surprisingly good at this price point, the sound is bright and clear. Consider a more protective case because the included gig bag is flimsy, you might as well be carrying it around in a flour sack. I have since ordered the Oscar Schmdt UC3 case, it should arrive today. The tuner is a neat little device and works like a charm, much easier than a pitch pipe or tuning fork. Even though it is a laminated body the book-matched mahogany veneer and satin finish seems flawless and after some rubbing with the included cloth it feels like silk. While many members of my extended family play a variety of instruments this is my first. I noodled around with the guitar abut 40 yrs ago but never really applied myself. With a little practice (and thanks to the included DVD and book I bought) I'm already playing tunes. My wife even enjoys hearing me play! (novice that I am) Maybe after I get better with this I might consider a higher end model but until then this more than fills the bill perfectly for my needs. All in all I'm quite happy with my OU2, as a "beginner" and also as someone who has been around music and musicians most of my life. If you are considering learning to play or just want an inexpensive Uke to add to your repertoire this is a great choice. I'm giving the Uke and Tuner 5 Stars, the Gig Bag is only useful as a dust cover, protect your investment and buy a better bag ASAP.

Just got this ukulele in the mail today. Thiz is my second ukulele. The first one i got at a gift shop and was crap so i spent a lot more and did lots and lota of research. Thd ou2 seemed to get the best reviews and has consistant build quality. The outer box was ripped but the ukulele was fine and nicely packed inside. I tuned it and played it. The strings sound alright but there were slight intonation issues with the g and e strings. They were just a bit sharp up the fret board. Hats why it got 4 stars. But you can barely hear the issue when you play chords. Nice looking instrument. No dents. The extra that came with it were as nice as the ukulele itself. Stagg bag, cloth, and solar powered tuner. Definitely buy the pack over the individual ukulele. Would highly recommend.
