True to size. I purchased this for trip we decided to go at the last minute. As I browsed through many brands seem to size down so I heeded this trend and purchased a 3T for my daughter who only just turned 2 recently. She is at the 95th percentile in height so I thought it would be fine. The suit arrived and ended up being too big at the waist but I figured out a quick fix.The swimsuit itself is adorable. Yes, it is a two piece tankini but the top piece is long enough for full coverage so you get the ease of changing a toddler into a two piece without exposing additional skin. The ruffles on the bottom piece adds a cute detail.I was impressed with the thick quality of the swimsuit for the price. I’d purchased thinner, flimsier suits for my daughter at a higher cost in the past. I’d but this brand again.

Super cute! I'm not really into two pieces for children, but this looks like a one piece when on and allows for easier bathroom access when she takes swim lessons.
