This tool showed up this morning and within a few hours I needed it to pull the bar that holds the blades on a 20' john deere mower. The part was on a big tapered shaft and was very stuck. Eventually i got fed up and gave it everything that my above average 3/4 impact with 150psi air on a big hose could deliver. As in, I let the impact hammer away until it wouldn't even budge it. I honestly expected the puller to break under what was truthfully abuse but it didn't even bend and the threads look fine. Eventually the part came free after a lot of heating with a torch. Overall, I'm impressed with the strength and would buy it again.

The best takes off the pulley with no problem. I had 2 others that bent before my eyes this one does the job with no problem. I will get his smaller brother also.
