When I needed it most, it failed. I used the timer for about three days. It was used to turn on the engine block heater for my diesel truck. After about three days use it failed to keep time and I was unable to get my truck started for work that morning. Do yourself a favor and buy a better made timer.

I like the fact that it was easy to set and it actually worked, bought two before this one, one burned out the other never turned on and off when it was suppose to, this one seems to be made a little better than most would highly recommend it.

I needed a timer that could be connected to an outlet with the third prong on top and this fit perfectly. Plus the longer power cord allowed me to connect it to my lamppost and hide the timer. The item was exactly as described!

I use for my festive lights I use year round on my front shrubs. No more daily manual for me turning on n off. I love the ease of using this timer!!
