Not sure what purchasers are expecting. This is an adequate tool for it's use. It is good quality and will likely hold up to many cleanings. The size is correct and it is cheap. Couple this mop with the other appropriate tools you need and you'll be set.

I.m an armorer and this is thje only brand of mop I use. They leave just the right amount of oil in a freshly cleaned bore.

Ordered this based on the description and image. Image clearly shows brass base and description indicates it is Blended Wool minimizes lint buildup and is easy to clean.The item received is neither Blended Wool or with a Brass base.It appears to be cotton and alumium just like the other disposable ones. Running my fingers over it drops lint so obviously not minimizing anything here.I would return it but it got opened and the package tossed so not worth the hassle of digging out of the trash but I will never buy this again as its over $4 for 1 and you can get them for $2 or less.Definitely, not worth it and not the quality or item shown.

Advertised as wool, it's actually a "wool blend" that more resembles cotton swabs than a good quality wool swab. Also, it uses the cheaper aluminum core and off-white yarns, not the speckled wool with a brass core that is pictured.

This wool mop can be used and cleaned with CLP hundreds of times. Good quality wool. No fuzz. Holds media, then wipes completely clean. Best for the sheep, best for the blaster.

This was perfect for applying oil/cleaner into my rifle. It also helps to scrub out some of the easier gunk/residue left inside the barrel. I use it for all of my .22-.223 rifles and it hasn't given me a single problem. It's really helpful, and makes cleaning my rifles so much easier. If you use this after every outing, your rifle will continuously be accurate.
