The Pour Over Coffee Dripper arrived well-packed, though it was missing a piece. I love this pour over! It is pretty. I love the filter. I have only one concern with it. The glass is extremely delicate. I am going to have to be extra cautious in where I store it on my counter top.

I purchased this carafe as I wanted to get away from using any plastics to make coffee and it was very unique looking. It felt very fragile, but held up after accidentally tapping it against my concrete countertop a few times when washing. Also held up when using a muddler to squeeze out the last bits of water at the end of brewing. But then it completely shattered when it tapped against the spout in my sink. Had it for less than a month. I really wanted to buy it again, but knew I’d probably be wasting my money and found a stainless steel carafe by a different manufacturer. The stainless steel filter from this set fits perfectly in my new carafe (and they’re often ~$20 by themselves), so I’m not necessarily sad about losing a few bucks from this carafe breaking, but was annoyed about having to find a new one.

I bought this for my wife after the carafe from her first pour over set broke. She loves this new one. It's very nice, it's easy for me to clean, even with my wide hands, and it just works really well. The funnel has been great and also easy to clean.It's a pretty simple set up but we like it very much.

I love everything about the Ovalware Pour-Over Coffee Dripper. I had another one from a different manufacturer and had to return it because the screen had separated from the stainless steel cone, despite my efforts to wash it carefully. As well, it had a thin silicone sleeve around the middle that was insufficient to protect my hand. The Ovalware dripper has neither of these problems.The construction and materials of the filter are top drawer. The screen is so fine and smooth that it rinses very easily without needing to be touched by a hand or cloth. As well, the screen is securely cinched by the ring on the top with little-to-no possibility of it slipping or coffee grounds becoming lodged. Because the screen is so fine, grounds stay in the filter without going into the carafe, except for very small particles. The silicone flange is all that is needed to handle the filter and keep it in place on the carafe.The handle is the right size and angle for pouring the coffee without one's hand coming into contact with the hot surface. (I wear a men's large glove to give you an idea of my hand size.) Other reviewers say it, along with the rest of the glass, is quite thin, and they feel it might break. I trust the manufacturer that it is strong enough. Overall, the design and construction are very elegant and scientific-looking, which I find appealing.I love the glass cone included for holding the filter when you are pouring the coffee. If you keep it in the carafe, be mindful it is there when you go to wash the carafe, because once or twice I didn't see it and almost dumped it into the sink. Now I am accustomed to this and haven't made that mistake again. However, the manufacturer might consider tinting the cone class, e.g., a smokey grey, which will help users to see it while still maintaining the scientific appearance.

I have had this for a year and have used it occasionally when I'm in the mood for coffee. It has consistently exceeded my expectations. When paired with a temperature specific tea kettle to heat the water to 205 degrees and following the 2 minute coffee brewing method (pour in circular motion around grounds, wait 30 seconds for the grounds to "bloom", pour some more, wait another 30 seconds, repeat twice more for a total brewing time of two minutes) it works well. The key is to find the proper proportion of coffee grounds to water for your taste and get accustomed to pouring the amount in 4 more or less equal quantities, 30 seconds apart. There is a technique involved but it is easy to learn and so worth the effort. I love being able to control the quality of my coffee and I do brew it on a cup by cup basis. It's easy to maintain, the filter especially is very nice quality and has held up well. This would be a great gift for someone who loves coffee but has been using a basket type brewer. This is so much more fun to use and the quality of coffee, because it is tailored to your preferences, is better. Expect to become much more sensitive to the nuances of different kinds of coffee, since you have your brewing method down you'll suddenly become aware of what your preferences are in this regard. I've learned I like medium roast organic decaf swiss water processed coffee. I had no idea this is what I preferred until I learned to use this pour over coffee maker. Enjoy!

As a beginner to drip coffee, this has made it very easy and nice to use. The filter makes the brewing of the coffee simple and smooth. Its reusable and doesn’t need me to purchase additional paper filters. The measuring cup could also bonus up as a filter holder after the pour-over, so it doesn't make a mess and drip everywhere! Glad I got this to start my new coffee journey with Ovalware! Can't wait to get more of their products!

Really like this decent coffee maker, especially its 3-in-1 design with filter, measuring cup and coffee maker. Beautiful look! Now I love making a pour-over coffee for my family in the morning and start a refreshing day.Super love the stainless steel filter. I don’t have to buy extra paper filter and it is very easy to clean and dry. It can preserve the flavor of my coffee grounds and don’t absorb the oils. The measuring cup is really useful to control how much water I pour, and its lid could keep my coffee warm.It works great with my Ovalware gooseneck kettle. Now I am excited to explore various coffee bean mix and different pouring techniques. It’s like art and every coffee is unique.
