How do I care for my products?	At O&B we believe in making our products as care free as possible! Our dinnerware is dishwasher safe and microwave safe, just be careful when removing in case it is hot. Our glassware and flatware are also dishwasher safe. Lastly our table linens are all natural fibers and they are machine wash and tumble dry. Please see our other FAQ's for tips on how to keep your items looking their best!
Are your products safe?	Yes, all of our products are made from natural materials like stoneware, porcelain, cotton. lead-free glass and food- grade stainless steel. We do not use any PFA chemical coatings. All of our items are food safe and pass all state and US government requirements.
Are your products quality?	Our aim is to make sure that you are investing in quality products. We know we are not the cheapest out there and there's a reason for that. Better materials and more expertise in manufacturing can mean slightly higher prices. Our items are all produced using natural materials like cotton, stoneware and lead-free glass. We know our products are an investment and we want our products to last for years and with a little care they will!
I've never heard of over&back	We understand there are many choices out there, but we believe we are one of the few brands that have developed a fully coordinated collection across all tabletop categories with color and mixability in mind. All of our products are made exclusively for us, adhering to our exact specifications and color standards, ensuring seamless coordination. We are here to stay, committed to making setting your table easier and more beautiful.
Are these dishwasher safe?	Yes, but always avoid over stacking so that they do not rub up against each other.
Should I wash before using?	Yes, our products are world travelers and they have traveled a ways. Please wash before you use them!
What about chemicals?	We strive to make all our products as safe as possible, because we use them too! All our dinnerware and glassware are tested by third party accredited laboratories and pass all federal and state requirements for chemicals. In fact, California Prop 65 is even more restrictive about lead levels and chemicals that the US government. We are happy to report that all our products pass. We want you to use these products for years to come and your safety is important to us.
Will they scratch?	Our glazes are very durable so they are unlikely to scratch. However, residue left from your flatware can scuff the plates and leave grey lines that you may think are scratches, but they aren't. So if you see what looks like a scuff (grey lines) making a paste from baking soda and water (or whitening toothpaste works!) and just buff out the scratch with a scratch free sponge. Another great option that works extremely well is Bar Keeper's Friend, the powdered version.
Can I put in the oven?	Our dinnerware and serveware is not meant for oven use (baking or cooking). However, if you want to warm your plates or serveware they are safe up to 250 degrees. Please be careful when removing as they will be hot.
Can I put in the microwave?	Yes, our dinnerware is microwave safe. However, please be careful when removing as they could get hot and we want you to use caution.
Do they stack?	Yes, our dinnerware can stack.
How do I care for dinnerware?	All of our dinnerware and serveware are made to be as care-free as possible, like dishwasher safe and microwave safe. However as with anything a little extra care can never hurt! Avoid over stacking in the dishwasher. If you see grey lines these are just scuff marks left from your flatware. With a little baking soda, whitening toothpaste or Bar Keepers Friend these will buff right out by rubbing the paste with a scratch-free sponge.
Can I mix-and-match styles?	YES! We love to mix and match. We like to say there are no rules anymore so if you like it, go for it. Mix colors as well. We have designed all of our products around a core color palette so that you can mix and match a really create your look. Have fun with it.
When can I use these?	Our products are meant to use every day. We also like to think that using our products makes every day a special occasion!
How else can I use these?	At O&B we believe in using what you already own! So if you only use some of your serveware a few times a year why not use it as home decor during the rest of the year. A serve bowl can make a great "drop zone" in the foyer or a lovely coffee table addition with some wood beads or vase filler. Use your platter or cake stand as a great pillar candle centerpiece and derogate with florals. A pitcher is the perfect vase for fresh flowers or faux florals. Be creative to get your money's worth!
Do these make a good gift?	We like to suggest items that the receiver may not already have. Think about fun items like our mini bowls, appetizer plates or a set of colored glasses. Serveware is also a great gift idea!

This is a large bowl, and I love the style. It's nice heavy stoneware, but more interesting than other bowls I have. Food definitely looks more stylish in this, plus it can go in the dishwasher.I tried to photograph the finish issues, but it's hard to capture. You can see a little in the photo. There are weird finish blemishes all over the sides and underneath. Inside the bowl is nice and smooth though. I'm using it anyway, but this might bother you.

Mainly using this for sides and salads at dinner time and it has worked out great. It's can hold a large amount, allowing everyone to help themselves. Absolutely love that it's dishwasher safe. The stoneware material it's made out is also a bonus, as this will allow maximum useage for years to come.

This has been a fantastic addition to our kitchen! My wife had always been looking for a serving bowl of this size to use, especially when we have a couple of family friends as guests, so she was very happy to give this product a try. We have already broken this out a few times now in the past week, and so far, we are very happy with it!The overall quality seems to be great, and we are big fans of the simple design that the product brings. The shape is perfect for serving various food; we have served braised beef and salad as two examples of using this product. The fact that this is dishwasher-safe makes clean up a breeze afterwards as well; we have run it through a few times, and we have not had any issues with the product.We would highly recommend this product!

This serving bowl was exactly as I hoped it would be. It fully matched the description on the website. It is heavy and well made. I have been keeping and serving salad from it. One thing would be nice---if it came with a lid for storing in the refrigerator as well.

This serving bowl by Over&Back is very well-made. It is substantial and slightly heavy, and can hold a nice quantity of food. I've used it to hold fruits on the countertop, pasta at dinner time, and for a salad for a pot luck. This serving bowl is a multi-use item and it's great that it can be used in the microwave and then popped into the dishwasher for easy clean up. A nice quality serving bowl with a simple but elegant design.

I have been using this has a salad bowl and it works great. I love that it is a simple yet elegant design that is natural enough to go with any decor. It is heavy which is great because you don't need to worry about it tipping over on the table. Great for entertaining and also a great gift idea.
